Hi everyone.
Ginny -- Hope your doh is doing as well as he can.
Kathy -- Thinking of you and all your family
You sound as if you have been busy Mrs M.
f1 -- SO,SO glad your son appreciated his presents. Knew he would,he sounds a lovely lad!
Happy digging Jean
I have started a small square blanket for DD2. We are giving her a bed for her new house and a bed is not complete without some woolly hookiness in my opinion. So I am using the Stylecraft selection pack from Masons because it makes it so much easier. 17 colours which blend and tone no matter which order you sew them together in.
i am trying to put pictures on but my photo will not upload to Imageshack and I no longer know how to share photos from Photobucket!!!
Thank you so much for info re socks. They are still on the naughty step!!
Love to all and hope pink blanket is going well Laura 16!Try and do a good deed every day.0 -

I have to admit I haven't actually started yet, I'll dig out my wool and get it started this afternoon. What size should I do? I'm thinking just a traditional like one big granny square type blanket.Sealed pot challenge 18750 -
That sounds good Laura. They are always needed. Have a look on SIBOL (sunshine international blankets of love ) if you need any inspiration! Also Ravelry is a fountain of ideas. So glad you have registered with Loving Hands as Lou does amazing work.

Hi Laura good to see joining in. If you are making a blanket for SIBOL they need to be 36" square, perfect size to keep laps and tootsies warm
If you go on the SIBOL site you will see how much they are appreciated by the people Mrs Twins takes them to.
as Chalky says Ravelry is a fab place for free patterns but you may be looking around for a long time as there are so many pretty things to make :rotfl: You have to register but its well worth it. If I need a pattern I just put the name of what I want in the pattern search and up it comes - like 'baby cardigans' or 'toys' and up come hundreds of patterns often free ones.Clearing the junk to travel light

Well the last day of 2012. What a year it has been and I wonder how long we can still bask in the glory of those wonderful Olympics and the Jubilee. I fear this coming year may not have such high notes!
This thread started by Kathy is about crafting and may I wish each and every one of you a year full of overflowing Mojos, yarn baskets ,yarn purses and ideas.
Thank you to you all for a year of personal support, encouragement and good old fashioned goodness and generosity of spirit. I turn to you all when the world is a little bit busy to listen.AND there is always someone listening and kind enough to "speak".
So wherever you are on this pathway of life know that you are never alone.Pop in to chat, pop in to share, pop in to explain and pop in if you need a moan.
Happy new year everyone and the gentlest thoughts if your hands are overflowing a little right now xxxxxxTry and do a good deed every day.0 -

Got a bit fed up with doing the same things lately so had a look through the patterns and started working on a crochet lacy wrap, well I'm trying the pattern out really as I've not done anything "holey" before, I had 6 = 50gr balls of mohair all different colours, given me so thought why not give it a go and see what I end up with...its worked all in squares and crocheted together as I go ... something else I haven't tried before...
enjoy your evenings everyone
Love to all Ax
