It certainly is harder to say that Christmas has been VERY difficult but it has. Dmil had her op on Christmas Eve still being in recovery at midnight. They had trouble stabilising her blood pressure after the op. since then things have really, after a short respite when she was on strong painkillers, gone from bad to worse. No need to go into details but all very from and very worrying for Doh. Now she is complaining of chest pains which could be to do with her heart failure. I fear we could have a long haul ahead of us!!
Added to that dd1's partner who was with us for Christmas had a chest infection and was totally wiped out and now is on antibiotics.

All well with William thank goodness. He has been a delight.

So,no woolly stuff going on at all.

Love to you all and hope the sun has been shining a bit morebrightlyon your side of the street .

    Xx

Hello all - sorry not to have got in sooner but I do hope you all had a good christmas
was so sorry to hear your worries chalky and fingers crossed that she makes a speedy recovery - sending lots of love and hugs xx

Ive just had the briefest of looks over last page so forgive me if Ive not mentioned everyone but want to say that for all those suffering with ill health, loved ones who are poorlie and those with troubles I really hope things improve soon and that 2013 will be brighter for us all xxxxxx

Christmas has been and gone - stressful but hey ho and am just suffering with bad joints now - legs were really swollen by xmas day evening - hands and wrists are bad and all i really want to do is start some knitting but hey will have to wait a few more days maybe - DS had a lovely time and all my bargains went down a storm so he is really pleased (thank goodness) - Ive missed my family terribly managed to hold it together until the evening but then just burst into tears - hopefully will get to see them soon

Anyway have been told to sit today so have gotten round to watching Downton Abbey and Call the Midwife - oh dear tear jerkers or what .......... i wont talk about Downton in case anyone is stil to watch
Am off for my tea now so all take care and will catch up more soon - DS / OH off on holiday take over the computer - so cant wait to have the monopoly on it soon

With lots of hugs and some love tucked in too xxx
