Hi all! Not new to this thread had a different name but forgot my sign in lol. Whould like to join in again, Can i ask a quick question please? Is this the same group as on Raverly Knit a square? Hi everyone and a happy new year to you all. I've not been well for a few days; some sort of lurgy has got me, so I've been lying low and feeling a bit sorry for myself.

Welcome to Laura and Lucy, and congratulations on the baby news, Mrs Moneypenny; how wonderful for your brother and his wife and, of course, for dear Lola. I am so pleased for them.

Pippa will have already left for Spain but I hope she has a great time.

Chalky - hope DMIL is doing well.

I am off to read the posts I have missed, and I will do the update as soon as I can.

Just popping in to apologise for absence. Days full of hospital visiting bt Doh and cough,cough,sneeze,sneeze by me!
Bug will not pack it's bags!!!
The only consolation is a Groundhog Day of no spend days. But I have had enough now.

the sales start today in France so guess where I am off to...............
just need a serious look around and see what sort of major bargains I can pick up, starting in the electrical shops - we bought a new telly last year but the sound from it is rubbish (and DH says HE ISN'T THE DEAF ONE!), so will have a look at the bar speaker thingie-ma-jigs, (I know what they are called here I looked it up. Oh and the vacuum I currently have with the hepa filters, no bags, all singing and dancing CUTS OUT on me when I use it - do you think its trying to tell me something?
I am still playing HATS on the looms- loving them they are mindless which is just about all I can manage at present.
Anyway, sending you all lots of cuddles and love, I hope you all have a great day - and all poorlies are improving or even better still all well again.

My sister in law now in hospital with pnuemonia so it's Torbay in the afternoon to see her.( my brother died a few years ago) and visiting Dmil in the evenings. Long sigh.... Can you hear it from there. Still on a personal level cough is getting better

Got back to France to find... no internet; my router had died. Back to the Orange shop; the nearest one only does mobiles so had to go to another, queue up. Eventually got sorted, new router, New contract with free phone calls, only to find old phone not compatible so back to the shops to buy another phone... :mad:
