My "hysterical" looms nearer - 7 weeks now and am beginning to get very nervous about it - more on that soon
Anyway Ive talked about myself too much am sending such a big hug and warm thoughts to all you lovely ladies xxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -
Just popping in to say hi to you all.
We've had the dreaded cough and cold that is doing the rounds that's why I am late putting up a post on MSE.
I am very happy to announce my 2013 'SIBOL CHALLENGES' and everyone are welcome to take part.
In particular I have a wonderful 'Sight Savers' Challenge which Chalky has very kindly suggested and I do hope you will pop over and have a read through.
If anyone wants to take part in any of the Challenges please note there are 'deadlines' and all Squares need to be roughly 6" Square. I would also need you to label your Square with your name and state which Challenge.
There is quite a large selection of Challenges and therefore I hope something for everyone. Please pop over and have a look.

I do also need new members on RAVELRY in our SIBOL Group and we welcome everyone to join in with us.

OOOh Mrs Twins, were to start??/ I am quite excited by the challenges and am off in a minute to have a pootle with my yarn and see what i can come up with. just what I need something to occupy my mind.
We have had a sad couple of weeks as a dear friend of hubby and the kids passed away on New Years eve. they worked with her for many years and she was wonderful. it was the funeral today but hubby was just too poorly to go. His health has deteriorated this last few weeks and so we are mainly confined to the house, in fact we should have been having DGS tonight but couldnt, which upsets him even more. Had a few scary hours tonight and thought, again, we would need the paramedics but managed to sort him out thank goodness.
I have to say though one thing which brightened up a very bad day was a parcel from dear Chalky, I won her blog giveaway and recieved some very beautiful things she had mostly, made herself. To say it lifted my spirits would be an understatement, everything is laid out on the table so everytime I come down stairs (I have been up and down to hubby all day) and stop to get my breath I can look at all the lovely things and give thanks to such kindness.Clearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.
