Hello everyone - first & foremost - (Hugs) & best wishes to you all for 2013. I'm ok but have been battling the "lurgy" for about a month now,
You may (or not) be aware that many of the "african" charities have been overwhelmed with the "fish & chip jumpers" and, as the little ones are now growing bigger, as is their wont, the charities are requesting larger items;
here are a few links I posted on LH earlier -

Loonie hats
ummm a definition could be hats for " beautifully bonkers " people ---- but I have never made one so it must be hats made by Loons!
Lots of love to you all. I could do with a hug! Sad days here with DMIL.
On the woolly front -- quietly hooking!

Just popping in to say "ello" - I am still here and keeping an eye on what's afoot, but not really posting much anywhere just now.
Love all

Hi everyone. I'm just popping in to say that I'm still here but have been really poorly. On top of a horrid chest infection, I reacted badly to some paint that we used (French stuff, I hasten to add, which is nothing like the paint you can buy in the UK). DH only used it for a couple of hours, but it gave me a massive headache and a wheezy chest for days and completely cream-crackered me. I'm just beginning to feel more human. The tablets from the doctor helped with the symptoms but made me feel a bit stoned, so it's been a strange week or so.
Chalky - I am so sorry to hear about your DMIL and hope she feels a lot better soon.
Lots of hugs to all of you and especially to those of you with poorly loved ones.
I see we have some newbies so a warm welcome to you.
I will do my best to call in later and read the posts I have missed, and get the update done.
Jean -will email you.

 hello everyone - long time no see.
Been in the usual seasonal Black Hole with `Edna Bucket`but gradually improving now. Been longer/worse than usual but heyho - onward and upward towards Spring.
Had a quick skim through and sorry to read of poorlies and sick relatives. Hope everyone is on the mend or at least starting to feel a bit better. Chalky, hope your MIL is improving now.
Not much woolly stuff going on here lately, except in my head - it seems to be permanently woolly
Must buckle down to it and [STRIKE]get rid of [/STRIKE] use up some of my wool mountain. If there`s an avalanche in my bedroom I`ve had it - no-one would find me under it all.
Mind you at least it would be cosy. It`s very cold here today so I hope you are all staying nice and warm.
Back soon.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.
