Kitchen got all finished, SIL and her Beau have been and gone - brought me the flu while they were about it and I have been laid up in bed coughing and spluttering every since..........why me? Had lots of lovely jollup from the quack to rid myself of the nasty germs, so will be back in action shortly. I do miss you all when I am not on line, so sending you lots of love and cuddles. Will catch up with all the pages of news later today, when I have tidied round a wee bit.
xxxx cuddles for everyone - please take as many as you like, there are plenty to go around.

healing comforting hugs to you jean, and anyone else who needs them.

started a fringed 'little ball' scarf last night it will be an ongoing wip as i used up the 5 little balls i had so need to wait a while now to build up some more odds to use up. it will certainly look bright and colourful when its done.

    hoping to stuff snowmen today

afternoon all, been to gp, and he finally has results from nerve conduction tests i had done a couple months ago. i have a badly squashed nerve in my right wrist, that will need operating on, its a simple procedure that will be done while i'm awake, but will mean i cant use my right arm for a while, just waiting for letter from hospital now with date to have it done.
have almost finished a little baby girl cardigan, and have cast on for a man's hat. its good to be charity knitting again, instead of xmas knitting,, just half a sock to finish for a xmas pressie.
hope everyone is wrapped up warm, as its forcast to be a cold weekend
    love to all

Been a busy few days here again...when isn't it lately...we went to Grandparents Harvest festival at DGS's school on Wednesday, awwww it was lovely, I made sure he saw us I wore a purple jacket and was waving like a lunatic, the smile on his little face was worth all the funny looks from some of the other wrinklies :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thursday I had a lovely couple of hours with MrsTwins she came over to pick up chalky's blankets she made up from the bags of squares and one she made herself plus bits and pieces tucked away in the bag, also a bag from me with two I made up from the bags of squares, plus some challenge squares, flowers, butterfly's etc, so she went home loaded up.We had a good old chat and made arrangements to deliver some more blankets when I get back from my hols
