pippa, hope things went well yesterday, I was thinking of you both. x

Shaz, your Mum is a wonder, she sounds as if she is doing well. I am so glad xxx

Lovely blankets as usual Mrs T, ISOM has done a lovely job with the border colours. I feel honoured to be on Sibol, its a lovely feeling seeing my blankies on show and also seeing my friedns work along with it. Very inspiring place to go.

Still in a bit of pain but not as bad today, the rest/ pottering about has really made a difference. I even made some cards last night mainly cos OH was hogging my chair so I had to sit at the table :rotfl:

Lots of love tucked into every hello to everyone. Hope things are chugging along. I was thinking of DPIXIE today. She sent me the neatest kiss the geezer squares and I was trying to emulate them.

All well here and DD2 has completed a journey from Venice to Sardinia in 90 mph winds!!! I was glad to hear that. The owners of the boat flew down!!

I am really being a butterfly at the moment which is fine. Flower brooches today!

Doh cooking the tea so had better go and lay up. Food always tastes better if you don't have to cook it!

Lots of gentle thoughts if hands are overflowing right now xx

Visitors have just left so I have a couple of mins to pop in and see what you are all up to and.... where are you all... hope you're having fun:)

Too much going on here this week so not been around much.

ginnyknit - They were really pleased with OH at the QE, but have told him this will probably be as good as it gets now, so it sort of knocked the stuffing out of him a bit. I hope you are feeling better now and OH has given you your chair back :rotfl:
chalky - 90 mph scary !!! hope she was'nt seasick

I've been a bit like chalky these last few days doing a bit of this and a bit of that and nothing holding my interest for too long, a few butterfly's for MrsTwins, 2 'Think Pink' square's for blankets numbers 4 & 5, a bit more freeform, some more on striped throw and thats about it, lacking in energy as well as concentration...but will improve soon I've no doubt :)

so many MIA's lately so luv'n'hugs for all
    A x

    Hi Everyone!
I think my lappy is playing up. I can't click on Thanks. But I am reading you.
Chalky thank you so much for the last Blanket. I took it to the home yesterday and the Lady that received it really loved it. She told me to thank you. I told her a little about you, and she was really interested.
In future when ladies make a whole Blanket I will be asking for a little card to attach to it. One of our Ladies 'Fiona' wrote a special card telling the recipent a little about herself and the Lady in the Home really loved that personal touch. So I think I will be doing this in the future.
The Ladies in the Home were absolutely thrilled with our SIBOL 'Sunshine Blankets' and they all told me to thank everyone involved.
So a Big Thank you from the Manager, Staff and Residents at Greville House Care Home in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield.
Mr. Twins took me over as I feel I would have got lost, knowing me.

Please pop over to 'SIBOL' and have a read. Go back a post though.
Thanks to everyone, you are the best.

Please be assured Chalky Anne and Myself will arrange something very soon so that I can collect the Blankets.

    Thank you!
    Love Suex

OH has been feeling rough this weekend - will be so glad when he gets his operation to remove those polyps - they are so bad his nose just pours and he has a bad head and cant breath very well - he is very tired which doesnt help so I sent him to bed this afternoon (I have had my Nurses' outfit on today!) - Ive heard from Drs my hysterical consultation is 28th Nov so not long to wait where we can talk through etc.
Well am off for a cuppa - Ive even done the work/school ironing so tomorrow will be free to "hopefully" knit

Hello one and all. Very quiet on here just now. Hope everyone is busy with creativity!
Lovely day here and have just walked down to our local village for ... Roast Tapas. 2 tapas accompanied by 2 glasses of red vino collapso for the grand total of 3 euros!!!!!!! Well of course it would be very rude to try only 1 tapas!!!!
Shall I book a table for at least 20 next Sunday. How good would that be!

Still booking a Lappy for a neighbour who has just had a heart operation. Want to get that finished as a priority but have got to the border so it's round and round to finish.

Looking forward to seeing the loving hands challenges.

Lots of love to all x x x
