Hi guys, not too bad here except Dd lost 2 of her pet snakes so OH wouldnt go and see them :rotfl: but they were retrieved after playing in the living room while everyone was out.

Am going back to the GP's on Wednesday as I am a tiny bit out of my mind with this pain and have run out of ibuprofen gel.

Pippa am so sorry the doctors didnt have a better way of expressing things to your OH, must admit we have had negative comments too.

F1 glad you got a date for your consultation. You will be so much better after the op, my friend had hers done and came out in a positive frame of mind, did as she was told and got fit very quickly.

Chalky, glad you are keeping the tapas industry going - they will love you :rotfl: keep posting pics on your blog, I love to see them xx

roamin, sending hugs, hope you are doing ok xx

Mrs Twins, will hopefully get to the post office this week and send you the other 2 blankets, sorry Im so slow at the mo. x

    morning all
still wet and miserable here bit foggy as well...never mind, and for once I don't have to go anywhere so I can get my sparkles out and start trying on for the cruise...to be honest the clothes aren't the problem...it's the body :rotfl:but I daresay I will find a frock or 2 that will fit...I am really looking forward to going away for a bit of warmth, OH feels the cold so much since his cancer as he lost such a lot of weight 3st:8lb in total, and it will do him good and MAKE him relax a bit

chalky - I still use egyptian cotton sheets never anything else, I love the crisp crackle when I snuggle down into them, and the snap of them on the line blowing in the breeze, they are a bit of a pain to iron at first but when they have been washed a few times they do get easier and they last for years :)
Seakay - hope all is well with you

so many MIA's at the mo hope you are all just busy and not poorly,
Well I better go get sorting things out, sending luv'n'hugs to all

    afternoon all
    hope everyone is well
finished the cross stitch card i was working on just now so need to get the ironing board out in a bit and press it.
went to see ~The Sapphires last night , a really good film that id recommend. about an aboriginal girl group in the 60's who win a chance to go and tour Vietnam singing for the troops, thought it would just be a poppy film but really dealt with the racism and discrimination the girls faced the horrors of the war in Vietnam. very thought provoking

Hi everyone. I've had a rotten chest infection from the cold I had a few weeks ago, and the horrid coughing has been wearing me out, so I'm sorry I've been MIA. I'm feeling a lot better now, thanks to antibiotics and lots of naps, and will catch up with you all tomorrow.

    Love to you all.
