    Afternoon all
cold here, been all over the place today so that kept me a bit warmer.
Has anyone seen the programme on BBC2 called Handmade Britain? its presented by Paul Martin (from Flog It) well its really good and some of the crafts are wonderful, and knitting and crochet is amonst it all. A few days ago a lady was on doing knitted grafitti its also called yarnbombing and guerilla knitting she was dressing up poles, plants, sculptures etc. It's on right this minute, its really good so many crafts, so many clever people and worth a look :)

ginnyknit - Love the bag of squares blanket turned out really good nice and colourful x Thanks for the comments on the kitchen, yes I love the cream and green combination too, its very calming...and I so need that at the mo. Sorry you are feeling so poorly I do hope things get better soon. DGS has a thing about keys as well so DS2 sorted some out from the workshop from cars that he has turned in for scrap, he put them on a ring for him and he takes them everywhere and leaves all ours alone now :rotfl: what is it with boys and keys?
ISOM - love the blankets you have put them together beautifully x hope you are feeling better now
jean - hope all is well with the visitors :)
chalky - I notice your spelling has got a bit more inventve, I expect mine will get like that when my cataracts get worse :rotfl:
mrs-m - you sure are a busy bee, you make a lovely job of the buntings
kathy - I saw that ad when I was watching TV the other night it is priceless, I love the little ones they are so natural :)
f1 - hope all is well with you, thanks for the hug x

Still working on the chunky/mohair/wool throw I am enjoying it too
    Love'n'hugs to all

Hello and lots of SPanish love tucked in!

Today my friend delivered the little premiere clothes I have been working on here in SPain

    http://chalkygilbert.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/tiny-babies-in-spain.html

The nurses all came out to see so that was lovely. Her husband was having a cataract operation here in SPain. Perhaps it is catching :)

I was so disappointed this morning as I thought I had lost one of my new pretty earrings. Then I realised I had put them both in one ear!!!

No help for me really !!

I have finished lots of WIP ' s so am going to sit down with some gentle hooking this evening. Just simple squares I think.

Well I often think of the MIA's .... Too many to mention but a wave to you all x

SHaz . Glad MUm is picking up well.
Try and do a good deed every day.
  • gentle thoughts for ginny, pippa and socky :) Hope people on the mend and your worries ease.

Lovely here today cold but at least the sun has made an appearance

ISOM - Glad you are feeling a little better now. I love the James Brett marble I used quite a bit last year for neckwarmers and they worked out well lovely to knit with too. I know what you mean about the cotton I made a hex lap blanket definitely not as snuggly as the acrylic and I find it quite heavy, but DGS loves it so he snuggles up on the sofa with it :)
chalky - aww the baby items are lovely... 2 in one ear only you :rotfl:
shaz - so pleased Mom is on the mend now

OH has an appointment at the Queen Elizabeth this PM not until 3:30 so lots of time yet

Getting on well with chunky throw I am doing it in large corner to corner squares in stripes 11"-12" not sure if it will look too much when its done though...we will see

  • Thanks to 'insearchofme' for the most beautiful Blanket received back today. One of my 'take a bag' blankets. It is so striking. I love it.
Please pop over to 'SIBOL' and have a look!

I can't use the 'Thanks' button for some reason. Sorry!
    Love Suex
