Thank you Ginny knit for the beautiful blanket received this morning. It was so nice of you to give me a hand on this one. I am trying to finish off now for the year. But I've been held up a little this end.

I have showcased it on SIBOL. Please pop over everyone!

Can I remind you we have a Daffodil Challenge on. Hoping to make 9 Daffodil Blankets to be donated to the 9 Marie Curie Cancer Care Hospices up and down the Country. We require 6" Knitted or Crocheted Squares with Daffodils as the theme. We have received some beautiful ones already. Pop over to SIBOL and have a look!

Chalky, still not able to meet up with pippa this end, girls have not been too well, don't want to risk pippa getting the bug. I'm sorry about this.

Thanks everyone for your kind support,
    Suex

Mrs Twins - SIBOL is looking absolutely stunning, and you are so close to the 300th blanket now, which is amazing. All the blankets are gorgeous. I probably haven't looked hard enough, but is there a date for the daffodil squares to be in by? I really must get going on some charity crochet and squares are so much fun to do!

We've had non-stop rain here again, so it really feels as if winter is on the way! I hope it's better where you all are.

MrsTwins - I will see you over on Rav sometime this weekend x
chalky - 40 degrees  I would melt, but some sunshine and a little warmth would be most welcome at the mo

I have done the worms and some adult sailors hats and started a throw for me :) with some yarn I had sent over to me which is mostly wool, some mohair and quite a lot of chunky and aran so its a challenge to co-ordinate it all

DGS stayed over last night and his Mommy came for him this morning...he is an absolute joy... even if he did get me up at 6:15 this morning:eek:

Thank you Mrs Twins, its a pleasure to help. I found a daffodil square on ravelry and am going to give it a go.

I have little piles of various stuff nearly finished ready to send to lots of people and I really must do it tomorrow as I am getting annoyed with myself. Am having a flipping arthritis flare up so am ratty to start with. My left thumb amongst other bits is very painful and you dont realise how much you use something until it hurts :rotfl:

Chalky I posted the other day but you may have missed it. You know the stars you knitted, how did you increase, it doesnt say on the pattern, tried m1 or inc in next st but they didnt look as neat as the pictures - it may just be me :o

So sorry Ginny.... I made a stitch by picking up the loop between the first and second stitch from the row belly. I hope you know what I mean.
I was not very happy with it as I was making the first star but once i sewed it together it all looked fine. Hope this helps.hope arthritis settles down quickly. Sorry you are in pain. X

Phipps ... Whatever it is big hugs coming your way from us both and hope things settle down really quickly xx

Thanks chalky will try again and see if it comes out neater.

Pippa I love wandering round peoples photo's. Yours look so pretty, the colours are lovely. You also reminded me I want to make DGS a neckwarmer like yours so am off to ravelry to see if theres a tiny one. The kitchen looks lovely just my taste too, love the cooker hood.

Am afraid I am laid low today with pain. its all down my left side and my leg is particularly bad. Took DGs home at 10 and he has been a very good boy. We have laughed and laughed. He went to bed with his wooly hat on and fell asleep cuddling his hat and the car keys. When Oh needs the keys we always frisk the boy as he thinks they are his. Have a week off from DGS as his Mummy is off till Saturday - apart from Monday when he is with his wonderful childminder and then daddy picks him up. So next week I can just visit for fun because Im damn sure I wont last till Saturday for a cuddle :D Think I may need to do some resting mixed with excercise, you know what I mean, its no good just resting. Visiting Mum tomorrow if hubby is ok and he better had be cos she has defrosted meat for potato hash. :)

Hope alls well with you all hugs ginny
