f1Widow - don't leave entirely, do as I do and pop in for a lurk even when you can't post. Seeing the posts will cheer you up, I promise! It's like a tonic for me when I'm feeling really down, especially knowing that I can comment when I'm up to it and just lurk without rebuke when I'm not!
ISOM - hope you are feeeling better soon, you really have had a rough couple of months with work and health!
psso and pippaS - enjoy the holidays, sound great!
memory fails me but could whoever did that fantastic crazy crochet square put a link in for how to attempt it or something similar? Looked tricky but a great result.
Love to all who are ill or caring for loved ones who are. I pop in occasionally but think of you often, and really enjoy catching up with all your news and activities when I do.

Jean - some lovely links there showing some really inspiring stuff.
Seakay - it's wonderful that you feel can post or just lurk without rebuke; that's exactly what the perfect thread is all about - somewhere to call in to when the time is right with no pressure whatsoever. Please, F1, take Seakay's advice, keep reading and call in whenever you want.
I'm actually starting to feel a bit better now so I'm hoping I've put the nasty cold behind me; things are looking a bit neglected on the home front! If only dust was an acceptable accessory to a home, like a nice lamp or a cushion!
ISOM - hope your cold is better now.
I hope none of you is suffering too much with the heavy rain I've been reading about in the papers; we get it here tomorrow, apparently, but we are in dire need of it. The grass here is white, and could do with a good soaking.
Hugs to all.

Glad to see you have a good weekend Mrs Moneypenny.
I have started some snowmen - but am finding it extremely hard to concentrate on anything at present....will see how the week pans out.
F1 the weekend is over and I just know you will be sitting there at home wondering what to do......have you made a start on any or all of the wee patterns I put up for you? I need to know so I can go look out some others for you.......TELL EDNA .....GO AWAY (Only it doesn't have to be that polite)
Love and cuddles to everyone, I shall pop in this week as and when I have time - that there kitchen of ours is taking up far more time and effort than I ever anticipated - when it was me who asked for a couple of new sinks.............We could do a complete re-build of house I am sure it would work out easier and cheaper in the long run.

Hi -- " Didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Pippa's!"
Cake -- We could not fit cake in as we were full of Cream Tea!!! And as lovely as that was just spending time together was even more special.
And of course she returned the favour and we came home with a takeaway! Oh Jean I wish I could send you some! xxx

Thank you Chalky I am so pleased you had a good time with pippa and that the weather was kind for you.
I am just popping in because I wanted to tell you that the 'SIBOL' Group has raised £200 for the Think Pink (2) Blanket.
This was going on EBAY in October for Breast Cancer Care Awareness month. But a lady in Italy contacted me offering to buy it. She has paid £200 as I said and as you can imagine I am over the moon, we all are. All of this money will go to Breast Cancer Care as soon as I know she has received it okay
Our 3rd Blanket is half way finished and this one will definitely be auctioned.
Thank you !0 -
We are off to Spain next Tuesday and am not starting any more big projects before our departure! But as anyone who knows me, even if it is only virtually I suffer terribly from empty hand syndrome!!!
