F1 just popped back to say i read what you posted on Lh and it was all constructive. Lots of people agreed with you. Lou was not at all offended and took it all on board. it must be very hard to run a charity like that and pay so much postage now adays. The idea of compliments slips was good as was sending stuff direct using the umberella of LH. I think it may well be a big help to all involved xx

sorry my internet died on thursday so couldnt get in at all but a lovely man from virgin has been out this morning with a shiney new router and im back again.

i replied to your PM F1 before i read this, i dont know whats gone on or not but please dont go anywhere. have a break from us if you want but pop in lurk or whatever, but please know you are always most welcome to join back in when you want. to be honest we would just sooner you didnt go anywhere

Hope everyone is well and having a good weekend. We are doing ok here, nearly the end of the cricket season - cannot wait - OH helps run the league now he cannot play or umpire and it drives me mad. But at least it occupies him and his mind and I get lots of nice people visiting to register. off out tomorrow for a cuppa with friends, on my own, like real people do :rotfl:

sorry am still here but had a ridiculously busy couple of weeks and now have the lurgy! ~Had thurs & fri off and now feeling decidedly crap! Just resting up today and catching up on posts...

Hi everyone

I'm still suffering with this horrid cold; after I had that awful bug around June I thought I would have been immune to anything else, so it's really annoying.

ISOM - I hope you feel better soon.

F1 - please don't stay away too long; you will be missed too much.

Chalky - poor you having to have a cataract op, but it will be worth it for the difference it makes. Good luck when the time comes.

Elaine - have a fantastic time!

Pippa - hope you had a good time with Jo and her new beau!
