Thank you all for such kind comments about DD2 -- We have been thinking about her all day as she flew from Nice to Bodrum in Turkey. Luckily the boat owners sent someone to collect her from the airport and we have just had a text to say she is already in her uniform waiting to meet the owners of the 6.5 million pound boat. It would seem they are something to do with the brewing company Corona which I believe is Mexican. What a day for her!

We are now back home in Newton Abbot after our weekend seeing DS ddil and the gorgeous William I gave him loads of cuddles from you all.Sadly they all have rotten colds including poor William who is struggling with a tap like nose and horrible cough!

  • I DO HOPE I GOT MY PROPER SHARE OF WILLIAM CUDDLES...IF not you will have to return and get some more just for me...I can take them - cold or no cold, sniffles or no sniffles....what a right wee smasher - I am available to baby sit.....just need a bit of notice.

Adore that caryy-anne.....wonder how DH would take it if I made a start on the pampervan??? em might hold onto that thought till the kitchen refurbishment is finished....we have picked up what we thought was all the equipment....(that's not true either but this is France), and made a start this morning...within minutes - realised that at least two units were missing so off went DH while I got to continue demolish and re-build...boy this is really going to try our patience. I did the last one on my lonesome -while he worked on the boaties, so I know I am capable!
I say no more on the subject but will see how the next few weeks will go- yes it will take us that long, we are being so precise it just isn't true - this is a FIRST FOR US.....and NOT ONE STRAIGHT WALL IN THE PLACE - OH this should be good.
LOVE AND CUDDLES TO YOU ALL - I am off for a swift glass of wine to relax with.....

Hello and love to one and all -- Oh jean what I would give for one of my/your cuddles right this minute. Another tooth today ( maybe that's whet the cold is about!! ) and he said "Dada" when DS picked him up this evening -- Can you guess how chuffed he was!!

Well I am still seriously trying to finish WIP's -- Today it has been the upcycling of various charity material finds!

Also made 12+ lbs of apple chutney all now squirred away

Thanks salome. problem solved, am off to knit myself a caravan :rotfl:I want one sooo much, we used to have use of a friends caravan in Morecambe when the kids were younger in exchange for me looking after her menagerie of pets when she went off to stay. Now her kids have grown and reproduced alarmingly so the van is never available :o Anyway Im working on a caravan fund to get one in Morecambe which suits us well.

Chalky that little man gets more huggable everyday, hope his cold ?teething stops soon. I made lots of blackberry jelly and just keep looking at it in the jar - its so pretty and magical :) Your daughter is roughing it on that boat isnt she :rotfl:

DS is just packing for Cuba, he goes tomorrow and I miss him already but won't miss cooking bug meals for 2 weeks. Its a big holiday but he is also going to check out how it would be to live there as his company has offered him a job over there.

Roamin you deserve a sit down and a glass of wine, take care.

Oh has had 2 sleepydays so have been busy hooking and sewing up the knitted dolls mum made and I havent thrown them across the room yet so she has done ok, just lots of bits to sort out. Am definately going out ofr a wander tomorrow, weather permitting.

Hugs to all hoping things are not to bad and those with poorlyness get well soon. xx
