Morning all musn't stay long...OH is raring to get going on the fiddly bits then onto the painting !!!
Thank you for your good wishes for DGS, the little celebration went well the other night, DGS was all over the place excitement I think. we had a nice meal. They took him up to Blackpool for the weekend to see the lights and visit DIL's Aunt and Uncle in Fleetwood. They are back this afternoon as it's school tomorrow.
I am so excited we are off to see my pal Jo, she has met someone and he sounds a lovely man, so we are off to her house in Solihull this evening to meet him. She has been a widow for a few years now and we have been friends for many years(36)
Together we have had good times and bad, laughed, cried, danced, shopped, dieted!!!, worked, confided, holiday'd and above all had fun :rotfl:its been a good friendship, we have done what we can to help since her OH died, visited, taken her on holiday, talked and listened, and OH does all the little jobs she needs doing so yes its been good in many ways...

I have an unfinished jumper free for good home. Either to finish or to unrevel for other projects. I has little bit of dirt on it and I don't know how easy it is go get off. I live near junction 3 from M42 so if you are local I can drop it off. I don't have time to post due to moving on Wednesday. Please PM me if interested.
PS I meant to embroyder some highlights to the dog and also add embroydered nose. Only little bit of one sleeve not finished."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Hello all, hope you are all having a good weekend.
Well, I have finished my 100th hedgehog :j and started on 101. 36 went to Chalky, 36 to Barra fundraising for LH and 24 to Shetland for LH fundraising and I have 4 sitting here with another on the needles.
In between I have been doing some finishing off on the usual ufo`s which get [STRIKE]dumped[/STRIKE] sorry stored in the basket in the corner. Out of sight out of mind and I can get on with something else. So will have a healthy update at the end of this post.
Chalky - what a great opportunity for your DD. Wonder if they need any Grumpy Old Women on board ? Feel sure I am well qualified for that
Well done on the wedding decs.
Kathy - hope your head is a bit clearer now. Nothing worse than a fuzzy head when you are trying to get to grips with new techy stuff.
Any news if it`s appendicitis yet ? Fingers crossed it`s nothing worse.
Roamin - is that knitting machine red hot now that it`s all nice and clean ?
Ooops gotta go, visitors knocking at the door so will update quickly.

OH had a bit of a scary few days with medical issues, thought we would end up having paramedics round but luckily crisis averted...and breathe... was awake all night worrying, and we had DGS here too but his Mummy and daddy were on call if we needed them, only 5 minutes from here by taxi. Anyway Dgs helped him through it. DS was here but doesnt really know Dgs's routine, as all autistic children you have to know that but he could have coped till Mummy and Daddy got here. Now OH is just tired with it all but not too bad,his sense of humour is in tact.
mioliere hope your Bil is ok, its not fair is it?
Psso you could get charity status running a hedgehog sanctuary from home :rotfl:

Hi everyone
Ginnyknit - hope things are better with your OH now. Sounds like you've had a worrying few days.
Chalky - Good luck to your DD2 when she starts her fabulous new job!
Thanks for all you good wishes for my BIL. It was not appendicitis, unfortunately; he now has to have an endoscopy because he has a blockage somewhere. We were hoping and praying for appendicitis because it would have been easy to deal with; now we just have to wait for the results of the endoscopy. He was kept in for one night but is now home but still feeling very unomfortable, so I hope the doctors can deal with it easily and that it's not something sinister.
I'm still muddle-headed with this horrid cold I picked up but I am trying not to feel sorry for myself because I know it will go eventually, and others are suffering with illness every day.
The totals are wonderful. Elaine, I can't believe how many hedgies you have done!
Jean - I love the butterflies! Hope you didn't get too tiddly but, if you did, I hope you enjoyed it!
Pippa - sounds like you've had a packed few days!
Marru - that is very kind. I do hope someone can collect it from you.
Well, I'd better take my snuffly nose off and find something constructive but not too taxing to do!
Have a great day, everyone.
