    Hi all

Jean - I am glad that Ginnyknit posted with the good news before you had to tackle La Poste, when you would only have been rewarded by that infuriating shrug of the shoulders!

Chalky - I remember doing all the flowers for a niece's wedding (peach and cream colour theme) and I was anxious about it the whole time, yet they turned out really well and drew loads of compliments. I'm sure yours will be wonderful. Lovely hedgies by the way!

Shaz - hope things start looking up for you now.

ISOM - hope you are feeling better. My cold has still not quite gone; it's been a really persistent one.

    F1- thinking about you.

I'm hoping to get some crochet done soon - my mojo seems to have gone missing again, probably because I've not been well.

Well, I've put the ironing board up but that might not lead to any ironing; I put it up yesterday, left it up for two hours, then put it away without ironing one thing! No, this time I really will get it done!

    KathyXX

  • F1 lovely to see you posting again, and at least you have some answers to why you have been feeling so poorly, my mum suffered the same and had same op, she says it was well worth it.
chalky, hope the weather is kind tommorrow and your niece has a fantastic day.
the doctor prescribed fentanyl patches yesterday, and me being me, doogled them on tinternet, and scared myself half to death, apparently it is 50 to 100 times, stronger than morphine, and it can have serious side effects as can a lot of drugs. so i didnt put one on.
anyway today am in a lot of pain, (arthritis in knees and back) so i put one on and so far no bad effects.
still knitting socks just now as need to get several pairs finished for xmas presents, but will try and fit some more charity knitting in when i can
    have a good weekend everyone

roamin, the 4ply purse sounds interesting, can you post a link, i prefer knitting with 4 ply these days, easier than the heavier wools on my hands.
off to go clean out the guinea pigs and hamsters cages, and generally tidy up then the rest of the day is mine to enjoy.
