Thanks Pippa, love seeing peoples work.

Hope all you poorly people start feeling better soon and lost mojo's are retrieved.

Spent the odd 9 hours yesterday sitting in hospital while OH had a bladder op as a day case. Went well and we were let home at 4pm. The specialist did it as a day case so Oh could be at home instead of being admitted as 'he is better off at home with you and real food' - cannot believe the Doc actually understands what I have been telling him, recently he has been much nicer and actually teases me and has a joke with us

He slept and slept after he got home, which was a bonus as he usually doesnt sleep at all well. today you wouldnt think he had a general anaesthetic yesterday, he is fine if still a little sleepy.

Its so much easier Mrs MP, and we are only 10 minutes from the hospital by ambulance if anything went wrong. I have to find someone to take me when he stays in or pay £10 in a taxi and the ward he is always in is the furthest from the entrance, we reckon its a mile from the front door and im not kidding - I did that walk 7 times yesterday as the coffee shop is near the door or I could have gone out the back to Costa coffee and wasted money.

The staff seem to be better on short stay wards too, dont know why :)

    hugs to all ginny

Been a cold one today and at times VERY wet

We had lovely week away, busy though
we met up with chalky and her OH, went out with friends for a meal, took the awning down on Tuesday and stowed it all away.
Went across to Weymouth for a funeral on Wednesday,it was OH's Aunt Mary who's 90th birthday we went to a month ago, a sad day.
Friday Jo and her new man came over to see us and off we went for another meal...I'll never lose any weight at this rate...

had a bit of a fall out with son daniel this afternoon, basically i was trying to give him advice, and he was having none of it, and told me to f off, first time hes used that at me in about a year and i was shocked, hurt, and upset, the silly lad, has gotten himself evicted yet again, stress never seems to end
anyways took myself off shopping, had a huge latte and a raspberry and white choc muffin at costa, then called in hobbycraft, and rescued loads of sock wool.
ginnyknit, glad OH's op went well, and he had it done as day surgery, so much more relaxing at home, and much better food also
    hugs all
