Quick call in with my weather news.
Just had torrential rain with HAILSTONES mixed in
Dogs were outside and I wondered why they were barking so muchso when I let them in they `rewarded` me by showering water everywhere, kitchen is now like a swimming pool, and I was wringing wet as well so had to have a quick change.
Hedgies are multiplying here. I love doing them as they are so quick to finish and it`s getting rid of my stash beautifully. I pick up odd balls of eyelash when I see it in the reduced bin at the woolshop so I have a fair few balls to work through
Off for a cuppa and CAKE. Anyone else want one ?Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

Yep I will join you Elaine in the cake...any kind of drink you please.
Chalky I agree... Sir P should have left it in the bar....I also didn't appreciate them rolling out Mohamen Ali (althought I do understand why) , whom I remember from when he was the young virile boxer. Loved the Queen on her parachute too..............having a rare time with the SIL - her BEAU and their builders....well it saves me sitting getting bored to bits waiting on the grass growing.

Isom -- Can you firstly thank your Mum so much for me! What a star. I think it is probably a good idea to go down a needle size at they need to be fairly firm to hold the stuffing into e hedgehog shape
Thank you so much .
P.S Get better soon xxTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
isom, hope you get better soon, lots of love xx you asked after the boys, well yesterday quite a large sum of money. no swas the first time in over 2 weeks since i last spoke to joshua, he has ignored all my calls, texts etc. then out of the blue yesterday he rang, asking for a largish sum of money. he didnt ask how i was or his grandparents, just wanted the money. i told him i couldnt afford it just now, so he told me to ask his grandma. he hasnt bothered to see his grandparents since april, (his birthday) and my mum wasnt happy when i told her what he'd asked. he also told me he'd been sacked from work.
not happy with him at all
on other hand, daniel is doing well, keeps in touch, see's his granparents once a fortnight, and has stopped asking to lend money, and is managing hisx finances really well. and he's offered to take me out for tea on saturday:) at least one behaving reasonably well
gave my snakes to a lady who collecting for the shoeboxes, and she loved my snakes, and she offered to pay me for them:o of course i said no, and that i often knit for charity, and its my pleasure to help those less fortunate.
sorry for what turned out to be a long post,
hugs all

Hello everyone!
I am popping in to let you know that one of our 'SIBOLETTES' has made the second 'Think Pink' blanket. This will be auctioned in October 'Breast Cancer Care Awareness Month'. It is absolutely beautiful and of course in 'pink!'.
I would love you to see it. Squares have come in from all over the world.
I am busy trying to get bags of squares made up before the end of the year and then I want to start New Years Challenges off again.
I do need to make these bags up before I accept any more 'stash squares'.
I do have a lot of knitted squares here and if any one wants to help me make blankets up I would be truly grateful. Knitted squares.....I do love them in my Challenge blankets because you can make wonderful designs on them and I don't mind the odd one,in my normal crocheted blankets but to tell you the truth I am not that good at making a whole blanket up.
Now if any Ladies would like to try something different and do a bit of work for my project by assembling knitted squares up for me please....contact me. This is purely Charity work so unfortunately I can't pay any one for doing so.
I have two Ladies who are working so hard with Knitted squares and we did get down them, but then hey a load landed in my porch again along with a box from a Craft group up in Scotland. One of the Ladies who knits is over 80 how can I turn them away? When she has taken the time and trouble to make them for my project.
So....if you have time on your hands and feel that you would like the challenge then please contact me.
You can pm me on here, although I am not too good sending and receiving pm's still (I will try) or contact me through my Blog

Thank you!
I would like to say Mioliere I am so terribly pleased that your Mother seems to have settled down. I know you have been terribly worried about her and after reading the thread it seems to me that she has settled down remarkably well!
Pippa and myself had a great time at the sheltered accommodation and I am waiting to hear back from the Manager because we need to take in some more blankets to them.
Of course our blankets were terribly popular and we didn't take enough with us.
Chalky - Pippa mentioned that you have a blanket for me thanks very much!
ginnyknit - I was wondering how you were getting on. Hope the blanket was no problem for you. We do need as many blankets as we can get in now because we have a few places to visit, so I'll look forward to receiving them when you are ready. Thanks ever so much for 'working for us'.
'SIBOL' is a fast moving Blog, so when you visit please pop back previous posts and see what's new. We have a lovely 'Camouflage' blanket which is new for a Man too!
Lovely to pop in to MSE today and I do hope you are all well and enjoying the weather!!0 -
Hiya Mrs Twins, am going to start posting parcels on Thursday, god willing, we are at the hospital again tomorrow for the test that was cancelled a fortnight ago. So I don't actually know where we will be by Thursday, OH may well be admitted (I hope) to sort out the problem. He got anxious today in Hobbycraft as his mind is all over the place but managed to calm him and we went home for a rest. He has gone to see DGS now, that always helps.
hugs for now GinnyClearing the junk to travel light
