Thank you all, just pleased the cancer hasn't spread, we can deal with prostate cancer but when it moves is scary. Have an appointment to discuss things with the specialist later this month but not quite so urgent now as the scar tissue will not grow and block the bladder. Its still painful but not life threatening. We sat outside the hospital for about 20 minutes waiting for dd's partner to pick us up and we both gave a huge sigh or relief and OH visibly relaxed.

aww Mrs M so sorry to hear that Lily lost her fight but KNOW that she will be in heaven having a blissful time; surrounded by love and joy but its those left behind that suffer so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you allxxx

ginny at least some positives and a bit of relief for you amongst the worry. Gentle hugs coming your way...at least now you know whats what and can prepare for that without the extra worry. Scar tissue can be agonising cant it...:( but at least not as sinister as first thought.

psso those pots were lovely and sure your lovely man would love you to have some next year and Im sure as you plant them you'll hear his voice instructing you! Thats what happens when Im in the allotment ...always hear granny which is one of the reasons I love it as feel close to her there-more so than anywhere else as she loved her garden. big hugs for you too and hope that you are able to get some joy from pottering in the garden again...
Early night for me after another long and arduous day...some days I really do wish I worked in tesco.

Psso -- Chocoalte brownies still AWOL! What a twit! I bet I find them when they have gone mouldy! The Sporty one would be in serious hot water if he had been snacking!
I love new potatoes too cooked with a sprig of mint and then melted butter on the top.I hope you grow some next year. Are you managing to keep abreast with the greenhouse or has the horrible weather stopped you?

My heart goes out to you and the rest of the family - so sad to hear this. One wee little fighter always remembered, never ever to be forgotten - an angel borrowed for a short time, but will be with everyone she touched forever. Sweet dreams little one.

Sorry - words are never enough

    Bless

    Dawn xx
