ginnyknit thinking of you and your DH i pray everything can be sorted out on monday and things arent as serious as you both fear.
spoke to Bro last night, lily is on abs and had to have a transfusion so that isnt good but shes responing well. bro has told me he wants to come with partners two older children to the meal and partner will be at the hospital with the twins. so now he is coming mum and sister are coming i think they were waiting to see what he wanted to do. like i said its really just to give everyone a bit of a break (dad and step mum arent coming as its the same day as uncles funeral so they will understandably be else where. one of my DDs wont be there either as shes got job training that day she cant get out of.
knitting a little bunny for other twin as when she visits the hospital ive been told she tries to steal lilys

hugs to all and i hope everyone is well, i wish i had a magic wand to wave across the thread and ease some of the health worries we have either for ourselves or loved ones.

chalky i will add hedgehogs to my to do list

Chalky havent got any eye lash yarn but am happy to finish a blanket of if people can send me their squares as have wool for that...will give you a break from them while you are making prickly things! Wish I had taken a piccy of one I held last weekend at the wetlands open day...it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute with a lovely snuffly nose but even as a baby boy do they prickle!! Worth it though as I love hedgies!
If thats a help and people are happy to send me squares Ill get on to it...if ok with all may be worth having a color scheme as I wont have stash squares..I have a few turquoise ones here done and it would be a good opportunity to practice flowers etc...let me know what you think!
So in a slightly roundabout way if you want to send me squares please pm me and well go from there!
Posting in haste as massively tired but didnt want to lurk..
hugs those that need them and great that Lily has at least been allowed out for a bit Mrs M! Fab news.
Hope people struggling with loves ones, ill health etec are ok...

hi F1, the boys are growing way too fast. sadly they both decided to leave the church choir elder one had too much going on at school and felt too pressured to fit it all in, younger one i think joined because his brother did but never really enjoyed it as much. younger has now taken up scouts and older one busy at school and with his 'stuff' they are 12 and 17. (i will throw my fund raising efforts into things for the school and the scouts now the school do a craft fayre at christmas that i did the stall on last year as part of the heads challenge)our girls are older (we have 3 of those as well) only one still lives at home but we are close to the other two and see them lots. were going sheringham in the summer as usual we all go one of the girls is coming down with her bf for the week and staying with us and the older one comes down for a day with her bf so its still a lovely family holiday.
DH has got blood doaning tomorrow lunchtime but in the afternoon we are going over to see lily again
been in school most of the day it was leavers assembly so it was really emotional

leaving hugs for everyone as you are all very special to me.

Sorry Ive had one of my "bright ideas" as a lot of you lovely ladies do different things for different charities could we have a section somewhere where you put down your chosen needs for example

salome - Pregnancy Crisis Centre - items to sell at Monthly sales

I know ISOM likes cat blankets

chalky - squares / little gifts for charity shop

These are obviously examples - but I for one would not mind doing a few bits here and there to help etc - I know Mrs M supports lots (choirboys etc) and I think some of us have helped there - with c*******s coming Im sure there will be more fetes etc - I for one forget what different peope like

F1 Thank you so much for thinking of such a good idea. Sometimes when the old Mojo is playing away it would be lovely just to go to a link and be able to choose to make something for one of our lovely friends here.

Hope all well and happy,if not the gentlest thoughts.

    Evening all...
Thank goodness: Friday....its been a really tough couple of weeks as work been very busy and I am still feeling very tired. Had my bloods done and iron and b vits on the low side so am taking extra but have asked for advice from consultant as think the b3 injection would be better...its a bit of a mare getting used to all the things I have to take and have been busy so protein intake not as high as it should have been this week which doesent help...
Anyway! A nice long weekend of not much planned! I am meeting friends for breakfast tom and pick up my clock that I got to mark this phase of my life from ebay and knew the innards needed fixing but then discovered that fixing it would be £200!! Will post a piccy of it as it is beautiful and even though more than Id anticipated is worth the money!
Mrs M would you like some jewellry for your craft fayre? I have a bottom drawer box of bits and am happy to raid it for you! Let me know and Ill post it off to you...
By the way I wasnt suggesting taking over the squares...just offering a break for chalky!
Sorry there are so many mia's at the moment...havent heard from red tractor for a while amongst others ...hope people are ok...
big hugs for those who need/want them! F1 how is the new place getting on?
