Good news.....the French HGV licence arrived this morning - applied for on the 17th NOVEMBER 2011............oh and it runs out 12 JUNE 2013 For two categories and the other three categories run out 12 JUNE 2014..........so I need to find out just what is required to keep it all ticking over!

Have been dealing with my head (Edna)and my barn full of other folks possesions - you know the stuff that when I cleared Mum and Dads house, MIL/FIL, Great Uncle when they all just up and died on me...just stuffed it all into boxes and left the lot to fester out in that barn-after my holiday I was so determined to SORT I........well I can confirm that although I have been missing from here I very nearly have a clear barn - Only DH has informed me that OUR STUFF is up in the loft of said barn - well that's things that have been packed for over 16 years - so no rush to get to them then! I shall now go back to being ME and getting on with my things. Off to read up all the postings I missed.
Love and cuddles to you all for putting up with me and my Edna

Thank you all for understanding my sheer frustration, felling a bit yukky ay the mo but am working on it.

Happy Birthday Mrs MP :bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake: have a fab day xx

Wow roamin, you have been busy, you must be pleased with yourself. Hope Edna is impressed too, tackling a project so daunting while she is pulling you down is amazing. My OH, though snoozing at the mo, makes himself do projects after his let down yesterday. It so easy to think 'poor me, I will sit in a corner and feel sorry for myself' its much harder to motivate yourself and have a personal goal reached xx

In haste as cant keep eyes open but just wanted to say happy birthday Mrs M! Hope youve been spoiled rotten!
Well done roaming to doing despite Edna...takes so much effort when youre feeling low...big hugs!
Lovely to hear from you Pippa! Welcome back; sounds like you had a lovely time!

Most of all for today sending hugs and prayers fo Ginny and OH; definately call 999 if hes in pain and be assertive if you need to be; know its hard but sometimes its the only way; had huge probs with mums epilepsy couple of years ago and eventually was clear that I felt they were failing her as no tests etc and that seemed to do the trick!

So far.....got as far as seeing that Shaz hasn't been well, ISOM is shrinking away to nothing. Kathy's mum is now settled in a home and her. Mrs MP little twins are both still doing OK (but sending prayers still for them both). PippaS...had rain and a holiday but she survived it. Mrs Twins is continuing to churn out lovely blankets. F1 has moved house and found a braincell - and is putting it to good use!!!
Chalky has stolen lots of kisses and hugs and squishies from William for us all.....Ginny/DH sometimes you have to just push to get the desired effect - do not be fobbed off!

I still have loads to read but I am working on it between being a restaurant for the French boys - their tummies tell the time exactly!
Also still working in the barn - and getting to grips with the whole situation in my head. I know I have missed loads but will get to you all eventually....sending you all love and hugs for a wonderful Wednesday
    xx
oh and I am STILL working on the spreadsheet for Kathy - in the meantime you can get it here just click on the bit that says LINK TO 2012 KNIT YOUR SQUARE BIT............

thank you all for the lovely good wishes, i did have a lovely day DH took it off work and thoroughly spoilt me we went up to bradgate park for a walk and i got loads of really nice pressies, best of all everyone made it for the meal apart from dad and step mum (because of uncles funeral:( ) we told everyone the meal was our treat and it was perfect timing that last friday i had a little win on the euro mills, i won £162.90 and the meal cost £166.80 so it took care of the treat.
my brother brought his partners two girls over and they gave me a lovely auntie card and had forged the twins names on along with their own. i think that was one of the highs of the day.
when we were up at old john (the monument in bradgate) DH gave me a beautiful sliver bangle etched with the words "Dreams come ture if you really want them to" i am going to hold that saying in my heart and live by it.
when we got to the resturant DD1 had had all the reserved tables decorated with balloons and after we had the main the staff came out of the kitchen with the most gorgeous cake my DD3 had made for me. i am so very luckly to have the friends and family i have, i wish you could have all been there with me. (i was one number off winning £177,000!!!! if i'd have got that you would have all been invited)

hugs to all and i hope you all have something good in your day

shaz i hope you are feeling better
roaming you do sound terribly busy i hope you get some time for yourself and have things all sorted out soon
    jean hugs to you

ginnyknit hugs to you and your DH i hope things get sorted for you soon

Hi everyone - I'm sorry I have been MIA but I've been suffering with a wheezy chest and DH hasn't been well, either, so it's not been a good week so far. I think the pollen has been getting to me so I'm using an inhaler at the moment until it clears up. It's made me so tired, and I've had to slow down a bit.

Mrs Moneypenny - I'm so sorry I missed your birthday yesterday, but I hope it was a good one. Love to the twins; I think about them every day.

Ginnyknit - that's so disappointing; hugs to you both.

Chalky - great news about the hedgie breeding programme!

Purple Teddy Bear - I will pm you a bit later about my online work!

Jean - good to hear from you; hope you are OK? Hope things calm down for you soon - you just never seem to stop!

Shaz - hope you are feeling better.

ISOM - you're doing so well, so congratulations!

    Pippa - welcome back!

Thanks to you all for continuing to send positive thoughts to my Mum, because they are definitely working! The latest is that she is really settling in now and even referred to the residential home as 'home' for the first time yesterday. She's making friends, one in particular with whom she stays up until late at night, putting the world to rights, and the staff say she is well-liked. Her health is really good, considering. Her oxygen levels are healthier than they've been for ages, she has normal blood pressure, and is eating and putting on weight, which is wonderful because she usually finds it hard to get above seven stone. Lots of family members are visiting too, and taking her out, and she's tending her own bit of garden so, all in all, I'm feeling very happy and very relieved, as you can all imagine. I just can't wait to see her now; we hope to go back to the UK for a visit next month, and it can't come fast enough!

Anyway, the sun is shining and I am catching up with my work now, so I'll call in again later - I might even get the latest update done, now that I'm feeling a bit better.

My goodness its windy here, the doors keep banging and Im trying to air the house.

Mioliere, such good news about your Mum and how lovely that the family are rallying round, must be a nice place if everyone is comfortable about visiting her - thats a good sign.

How romantic is your hubby Mrs MP, that bracelet sounds wonderful.

My hubby and Ds disappeared off somewhere the other day to get my birthday gift - all very cloak and dagger, Im getting excited and its not for 2 weeks :j

Having a quiet day again but definately getting out tomorrow :(
