Ummm, my stash is getting bigger and not smaller. I was rummaging upstairs and found fair amount knitting yarn that I had no idea I had :o Also I found unfinished jumper for ex, only half sleeves left that I can't bring myself to finish. Or perhaps I should it might help and then donate it away. Will put picture up for your wise advice when I get a moment.

Anyway, my friend sent me some sock wool. There is always yarn left so I have an option to either do tiny socks from the left overs or I would fancy having a go at crocheting squares. The yarn is 75% wool. Which squares this would be best for and would you please have instructions? Thank you again.

re sleep - Socky I've just been advised not to watch TV for the last hour before going to bed (apparently reading is ok as long as you stick to an hour and don't get carried away and stay up to finish the book) to do inhale exhale deep breathing a couple of times before bed and to avoid all stimulating drinks (tea, coffee, chocolate etc) in the evening. Apparently even decaff coffee can be bad because the brain can associate the taste with wakefulness even if there is no caffeine present!
Just thought I'd pass this along in case it helps.

Hello everyone!! Lots of love to one and all.

Latest Lappy -- I hope the lovely people who donated these squares can see just like the ones in the previous ones, that they really are lovely. I know some people worry about their squares but they are all great and I feel really priveledged to be working on a project which is full of joint love and good wishes!

Dmil -- is really enjoying watching them all laid out and then coming together! It really does give us a lovely talking point and she asks every day "any more parcels today dear!"
Talking of DMIL -- she has had very variable health in recent years. She had a triple by-pass 8 years ago.She weighs 6stone 2 pounds and yesterday after a trip to the doctors it looks like this recent bout of ill health is probably down to heart failure. All a bit worrying and scary for her. She is sitting knitting baby hats to distract her worrying!! Thanks for all your kind comments and enquiries x

William is sleeping from 7p.m to 6.30 a.m -- Very unlike his daddy and aunties I must say!!!!

Psso-- I was thinking about little j the other day
    Kinsey -- How is William Mark1 ?
Mrs M -- Special gentle thoughts for little Lily xxx
ISOM -- Lots of encouraging thoughts to you --- I will be thinking of you often and hoping all goes well.
F1 -- Hope things are a little brighter in F1 LAND XX
Purple Teddy Bear -- Hope the littlies are well xx
Kathy -- I hope you dear BIL is still making progress xx
Jean --- Have things calmed down in your life yet?
    Shaz-- Lots of love x
Pfungi-- Thanks for popping in and leaving such a lovely comment on Chalky's World.

To one and all as I am sure I have not covered everyone lots of gentle thoughts.

Toots Thank you so much for your lovely squares.

I will be carrying on making up the blankets for a while yet so if anyone wants to join in the fun it is 6 inch squares in either crochet or knitting. My life is a million times easier if they can be made in sets of 4 with either a blend of matching colours or made in sets of matching squares.
Thank to each and everyone of you who has contributed so far
Try and do a good deed every day.

Thats a pretty blanket Chalky, I just gathered a bag of oddments of pink to start another. I love the daisies that you posted a tutorial for on your fab blog. Sat in the hospital waiting room yesterday making them and the time just flew by. Am thinking of doing a pink and white blankie for my nieces little girl with daisies on the white squares.

ISOM dont think I dare show my stash  Oh just found a huge ball of aran that was buried in the shoe box in the hall:o
