Well I said watch this space... OH has booked a holiday in Spain:cool: and some friends are coming with us, we met this couple a few years ago at this same hotel and we all got on so well, we see each other from time to time and speak every few weeks, then meet up at the hotel every year around this time... its been 5 years now.... I am looking forward to it sooo much :Tit will do OH so much good.
We go on the 28th which is next Tuesday and come back 2 weeks later on 13thMarch.
I met my friend for lunch in Birmingham today and got a few bits and pieces for the holiday...must get OH some new trousers his keep falling down :rotfl:he has lost so much weight
I finished off 2 pink squares last night for MrsTwins for the 2nd "Think Pink" blanket for breast cancer.
One of the lovely ladies on Ravelry is going to put it all together as MrsTwins is up to her neck in Olympic squares at the moment, over 200 now can you believe:eek: from all over the world. Still haven't done mine yet I will have to get a shift on.
I'm hoping to get all my promised squares done before we go away, only got 2 to do now the olympic one and an owl one.
(((hugs))) and love to all
can you tell I'm excited :j

Really good new Pippa! Get some rays for me! Will do both of you the world of good.
Sorry to hear that they couldnt get a vein knitter nan..owww!
Chalky house is coming on..walls next?!
Roaming how is Edna? Not bothering you I hope! Love the cat basket.
Miol you have my sympathies with the house sale...hopefully with spring coming the market will improve!
Socky sorry to hear that you are feeling so upset and are hurting yourself again..great though that you feel happy and safe in your little flat. As for the boys they will have to learn the hard way but I know that its exceptionally hard to let them go...big, big hugs for you
Psso...yuck to grown up sick! My mojo is gawn but it did manage to do the blanket and Ill uploads a piccy...quite chuffed with it and know the recipient will love it!
Things here have been stressy but I think I'm beyond caring tbh! Work remains uncertain; mums flat still not gone through which means op on 5th is in question...people have been praying though and despite it all I feel calm! Had to miss singing tonight as was shattered after trip to dentist today; I have a few days of being able to eat what I want before pre-op diet and start back at work on Monday - all being well only for a week and am then in for op. Who knows what will happen after that! We shall see!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Did I really say that I was going to knit my stash before getting in any new wool. Colleague tempted me today to HC and they had this lovely yarn that was 1.99 for 100g so I got the lot to make a throw for myself. :j I might be awhile....
Oh and if I get bored doing the throw. Would anyone have a good pattern for doing baby hats from 2 ply? I would like to make them round with two point needles."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

morning all
got a stinking cold and feel shivery so im glad you are virtual friends as i dont really want to share it with you
had a think about two of the memory squares id done for LH they are navy so i thought they looked a bit somber so i knitted some leaves crocheted some flower heads with yellow centres and white petals and chain stitched stems they arent brilliant but look a bit more cheerful and comforting now. cant believe the price of post i only had a few bits to post yesterday couple of knitty things some birthdays cards and boring stuff and it cost £7.36!!!!
shaz' it will be lovely for you once the decorating is all done and its your own space finished:)
pippa, enjoy the holiday it will be so good for the two of you
isom, you are in my thoughts
roamin, have a lovely day
marru, is the throw going to be two ply or have you also got some of that for hats when you need a break from the throw? i did a tiny one in the round for one of my nieces i read the hospitals prefer seamless ones for tinies as the skin is so delicate but i found it really hard as im a lefty and cant knit holding two needles so it was really difficult keeping 3 in check but it was a labour of love.
sadly my niece Lily is back in IC on the ventilator fighting a chest infection so any spare prayers for strength would be apprechiated please.
have a lovely day allSPC~12 ot 124
