  • glad the squares arrived safely - thats the wool i bought for making mini stockings with.
the daisies i made were inspired by your lovely book marks mine were a bit basic just a circle of trebles with single chains inbetween in yellow then i swapped to white and did chains of 10 to make each petal and joined them in the gaps between the trebles. was pleased with the end result.

pleased as ive just found a 6inch square i thought id lost so cleaning is worthwhile

Hi everyone. I'm halfway through a post that I started first thing this morning, but things keep happening to stop me getting on with it.

I just wanted to call in and wish little Lily the best of luck, Mrs Moneypenny. I'll be keeping her in my thoughts.

I have done the update which you can find by clicking into the name at the side of Roamin in the Gloamin's post, then going to her 'homepage'. Thanks, again, Jean!

I'll try and get my post finished and get it on here as soon as I can.

    Thanks for everyone's totals.

Just to confirm that the throw is going to be done with 6.5mm needles and the yarn for the baby hats is 2 ply. I am not completely mad (yet ;) )

  • Afternoon lovelies! Just had last but one meal (pancakes, bacon and syrup) and then will be chinese for the last one and from tomorrow healthy eating all the way...dont know what i will be able to eat after the op as people react very differently to the same foods; month 1 is no food though as all the internal gubbins heal...
Thank you all for prayers; much needed and appreciated at present as life, even for me, has been way too stressful; the prayers are working though as despite the circumstances I feel ok so thank you and keep em coming! Flat exchanged today and will complete tomorrow! Mrs M will say one for Lily...so hard to fight infection when so diddy and already vulnerable.
Sorry havent added piccy yet - will try later but its in the boot of the car at the mo! Will do my sqaures and have started on a blanket for me with delicious deep cols blue, fuscia, mustardy, silvery grey, teal etc...will upload piccy as easier to see as sounds revolting!
Hope that people are ok and that Edna gets a swift head bash if she comes round - a broom is my weapon of choice but some days she really does put up a fight! Tummy feeing much better though-not 100% but on the way and I got some probiotic tabs today to build up yummy bacteria!
    Cahlky loving the house progress!
Socky hope today feels more managable for you.
Big hugs whether you need them or not!
