Hello Everyone!
Just popping in to tell Ginnyknit that her beautiful Blanket is now showing on SIBOL.
Do pop over and have a look at it. She has very kindly donated it to SIBOL, and it's gorgeous!
Thank you for your kindness Ginnyknit.

Olympic Squares must now be in by the end of March if anyone wants to have a go. I'm reckoning on 200 Squares in this massive Blanket! It is going to be sold on EBAY to raise money for Alzheimers in the UK.
All details are on www.sibolchallenges.blogspot.com
We raised £102.00 recently for Breast Cancer Care, I do so love making these Charity Blankets as well as our normal Blankets for the Elderly in Nursing Homes in the UK.
We also have the 'Your Local Landscape' Blanket showing in Jersey at the beginning of March, an exhibition there 'Jersey Textile Showcase 2012' and afterwards the Blanket I am hoping will raise some money for Mencap.
Thank you for your support,
Best Wishes Suex.0 -

Shaz - That`ll be the 4 ply ones with the tricky honeycomb and cable pattern you`re thinking about is it ?
Mrs mp - Maybe you could do 50 of Mayflowers designs ?
I`d like to do at least one of each pattern but so far have done 3 lazy weekend cardies and 1 of the others, can`t remember what it is called right now - brain numb.
Or how about 50 boobs ? Would probably be quicker than 50 Sands blankets eh?
Pippa - great news re the sunshine holiday. Don`t suppose there`s room in your suitcase for a little ol` me is there ?
ISOM - hope you enjoyed your chinese last night.
That will be our treat tomorrow I think as it was payday today :T Might even splash out on some more wool. I`ve decided I`m not just going to`work to live` I`m going to ENJOY as well. My old Mum always said there aren`t any pockets in a shroud, so as I can`t take my hard earned cash with me I might as well enjoy spending it and some less fortunate soul will reap the benefit of my crafting time, MOJO permitting of course
Socky - snap with the lack of sleep thing. I find I have 3 or 4 broken nights and then am soooo tired I finally sleep right through. Maybe when the better weather comes (?) we`ll get the sleep pattern sorted - fingers crossed anyway. Getting through lots of books anyway
Kathy - how is the house selling going, any more interest ?
For goodness sake don`t tell any potential buyers about the FRENCH RED TAPE.;)
Marru - you could always use two strands of the 2 ply to make 4 ply. Might be easier to find a suitable pattern.
Off to the evening job, then back to cast on another Mayflower design. They seem to be encouraging mo(jo) back into action as they are so small and easy to do that I don`t have time to get fed up.
Take care everyone and I`ll pop back over the weekend.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.
