Oh, Chalky - poor William, but at least he won't remember it, bless him. I think it's worse for the parents than the baby!

It's horrid not having constant access to the internet, so I do sympathise with you.

  • Afternoon all; been a bit of a week here; stressed with mums flat selling - was meant to complete yesterday but had to rush to get two reports done and then sols said they werent ready so NOT happy...fingers, toes and all else crossed for Monday. Cant have my op without it and that needs to be paid soon so all extra stress. Then got awful tummy bug that is going round...feeling a bit better this am but said that yesterday and all hell broke loose! Have lost a few ibs at least!
Roaming, socky, F1, psso etc hope that edna has gone...
Chalky and Mrs M cant believe that so much time has gone by...good news re Lily and poor William! Bet mum and dad were more distressed than he!

Socky how are things in your new flat? You havent mentioned the boys in a while and am wondering if that is a good thing??
Finishing my blanket today (or trying to) and am on the edging at last! Going to try and muster the energy to change my sheets later! Life of excitement me! Then need to get my head round my pre-op diet which starts next week!

  • evening all, huge hugs to all the poorlies, and those with a lot on their hands just now.
havent mentioned the boys for a while, cos i am trying to let go, and let them get on with their own lives, because they wont listen to what i or any other sensible adult has to say. have been very down and started self harming again cos the stress is getting too much for me.
joshua has given up his flat and moved in with a girl that he met on monday, thats right, less than a week ago, and according to proffessional adults that have worked with both her and joshua, have all said she is bad news as far as he is concerned, but he wont listen. so if it dosent work out he'll have nowhere to live
daniel has been given 28 days notice to end his tenancy because he has broke the tenancy agreement, basically walking around the outside of the flats with a large kitchen knife. daniel said it was for his own protection, and wouldnt use it. staff obviously said it was a danger to others both tenants and staff, and i have to agree with them. i'd be pretty scared too if someone walked past me carrying a large kitchen knife.so he is going to be homeless on 24th march
still love my flat, and feel safe, because even tho this is gonna sound really bad, but there is no way am i prepared to live with them, while they carry on as they wish.
    sorry for writing a book.
    love to all

  • Shaz, you have made the right decision...........its a toughie but you just have to concentrate on you and your own flat, not happy to see you self harming, but given time you can bring that under control too. Sending you all my love and loads of positive thoughts.........the move into the flat was the best thing you have done in ages. Sometimes no matter what you do you can't help those who don't want to be helped.

shaz sending you hugs and hope that things work out for you we are all here for you, wrap your blanket round you snuggle in it and feel our hug its there for you when ever you need it.

is there anyone i can double check with i can find the post about a blanket for Gillian on LH am i correct in thinking we are also doing one for Angie? i cant find the thread and would hate to get it wrong.

made the mistake of trying to tidy the black hole (cupboard under the stairs ) it wont all fit back and i hadnt realised how much wool was hiding in there. whilst doing it i managed to drop my button box it had 100s in that spilled all over - ill be finding them for weeks

    hope everyone is well
