    Hi all,

Big (((hugs))) mrs moneypenny for you and the family. You`ll have lots of numb days ahead but we are here for you so pop in for some hugs when you are feeling down.

Like the hottie bottle cover chalky, really retro as I used to have one similar when I was wee. My mum knitted one each for me and my brother so that our
    tootsies didn`t get burned.
Tried to post pic of wee man but ****** wouldn`t work. Will try again later when brain kicks into action.

I was going to be going to the LH meeting this afternoon, but DS isn`t feeling too good so have to take him to the doctor`s this afternoon. Typical, you make plans for one day in the week and they get scuppered. Oh well, I`ll just have to do some knitting at home - and eat the cake I was going to take down with me. Maybe won`t eat it all at once as I think it might be a bit tooooooo much all at once. Banoffee cake anyone ? Have to admit I bought it at Aldi the other day as I haven`t baked anything for ages. The usual thing.........can`t be bothered......young `uns seldom here to eat it........have to eat it all myself.......so really not worth doing it. Easier to open a packet of custard creams.

Hmmm, think there`s a new packet in the cupboard....:D.....see ya later folks.

Elaine can you post me some of that cake???? PLEASE? Today I am that Donovan song......Mellow Yellow but don't seem to ache as much so I will be better for the weekend.

Back later me thinks - tummy rubbles time for lunch

Hi Chalky and anyone else who would like some of it here are some of the various balls I have been given, pics arent very good I'm afraid :o
In the second picture the top left is the snowflake (it's at the front in the first pic) in front of it is the ribbony yarn, the furry is on the right, the chenille is the lilac at the back and the bit of eyelash is down at the front.

I also have assorted patterns and a couple of Jean Greenhowe toy books, can you tell I have been sorting out??? trouble is I keep finding stuff I'd forgotten about and every time I see my friend she brings me another bag of wool that people give her for me.
People are so kind and thoughtful, but I can't use it all..... there's not enough hours in the day....so I would rather pass it on than leave it in a pile doing no good at all.
So please shout up and I will have a look and see what's in the sack, I know I have a couple of 100g balls of red DK, different shades though
