Morning :hello:
What are you all doing tonight...keep it clean :rotfl:
No plans here for tonight other than chillin' with a drink (only me OH not allowed yet until he's off the morphine completely) and a plate of cracker type biscuits, crispy bits, cheese's,mixed nuts raisins and little tom's just bits and pieces to munch at, nice and relaxing...
boult - have you put your buttons on yet
chalky - ooo major works on the go soon then,
ISOM - you got me thinking yesterday so off I went to attic24 and had a good look around, plenty of ideas there
mrs-m - so pleased Lola is home and doing well, and Lily has stabilised
I finished off an animal blanket last night, it's been done for ages but I just never got around to sewing it together, then I just couldn't make up my mind what to start next, but I wanted to do something I haven't done before so... after reading ISOM'spost I popped over to Attic24 and had a look at the hexagon blanket, thought hmmm looks interesting...next came the question what yarn to use and then remembered I have a load of yarn that came with the Crochet today series that was a couple of years ago now (have I really had it that long ) not many colours but enough I think to look ok, made a start and have done a few hexagons already so that's my little New Year project
May not get back in again today so....
A HAPPY, HEALTHY NEW YEAR FULL OF GOOD FORTUNE TO ALL OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just the gentlest thoughts to each and everyone who enjoys being a special part of this very special woolly place-- It means so much just to belong, so here is a New Years Wish
May we every day, make a difference to someone who is in need. Maybe it is one of our happy band, or maybe it is someone who is not known to us. Maybe it is a homeless person we will never meet, maybe a family who has just lost a baby, maybe an animal who has been treated cruelly.Whateve,r thanks to Kathy who started this thread may we all feel a special part of a force who really does make a difference. 2012 -- may it continue to grow and make a differenceTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
