merry christmas to all of my lovely wonderful friends - hugs and best wishes to all of you and your families xxxx
Sorry have not been on for a couple of days - slowed down a bit today so quickly popped on - I was a very lucky girl yesterday and my lovely husband brought me a Pandora ring and a new MP3 - the presents from LH Secret Santa were wonderful.
Now its pretty much all over - the fantastic thing is that at long last my family will be joined up tomorrow on Skype - the first time Ive seen Mum and Dad since July and I can see my little nephew and my other two nephews - so am really excited - my sister has set skype up to use whilst Mum and Dad etc are all over for tea
I am hoping you have all had a lovely time and are all well - hugs and special thoughts to you all - am also sending special thoughts and prayers for the new little ones - talk to you all soon xxx

Hi
I was limited by the amount of wool I could bring home from the Stats lol, but I did sucome to some sock yarn :-) Their craft shops are amazing.
I went to Hobby Craft in hope of some bargains after seeing their advert of 'best bargains ever' Really disappointed. Didn't buy anything, except a couple of patterns my daughter wanted.
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to all in need ((((hugs)))) Love you all.

Evening all! Thanks all for good wishes...got back about an hour ago after a very long day. Unfortunately car wouldnt start so tried jumpstarting, towing but no joy so called the man in who discovered an electric fuse gone so wouldnt have started no matter how hard we tried! Anyway, temporary fix and a long drive home later here we are; house freezing and unfortunately the stuff that was moved had just been dumped so had to move stuff just to get into rooms and into bed! Dont know if the soundproofing has worked but will be able to tell the next few days - there is loads of rockwool left though!!Also got home to a £30 fine for driving in a bus lane on our day out in Bath but cancelled out by £200 inheritance cheque!! Despite that good to be home and will go rescue the cats tomorrow! No place like home eh!! big hugs/....Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Kinda wished Id stayed in Italy!!..cats are home and Isoke is thinner but will be ok...currently cleaning herself. Bad, bad news is that the insulation hasnt worked ...what a waste of time, money and hassle plus suspect that it will now be legal action
Feel quite downhearted to be honest, esp as its going to take ages to unpack everything...Will be ok but its SO dissapointing. Have got the second how to kill your dragon dvd and will have a nice nigella cocktail this eve...http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/cranberry-champagne-cocktail-recipe/index.html ...I can confirm tis good! Will be checking whether as good in us as in Italy...quality control you understand!
Hope that babies, families, injuries and any other ies are all well. Did anyone get knitty gifts for Christmas? I need to find me a new project as cowl that I did was finished so no hooky or knitty project on the go...just wont do will it eh!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! They were going to have a very quiet Christmas at home whilst we had 10 here!!! But guess who was on my doorstep in his car seat yesterday morning on a surprise visit!!
The best Christmas present ---
I promise to come back in properly and catch up with everyone's news when we have doen the big clear up tomorrow but lots of love and the gentlest thoughts to one and all xxTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
