  • dearest chalky that is fantastic news im so pleased that your little family are spending their first Christmas at home together, i really couldn't be more pleased for you.

lily is stable and in my book stable is good so things are looking better. mum thinks lola is home last she heard my bro was on his way to pick her up. so sort of happy Christmas

i pray that everyone whos worrying about a loved one health has at least a little good news to cheer them at this time of year

youngest dd has taken her little bro to the cinema with her bf as a Christmas treat (she said it was more a treat for me really as i get a few hours off to do what i need to do) - they are even taking him for pizza after how good a sister is she. she even walked to the supermarket with me this morning to help carry groceries back.

hugs to all and i wish you the best Christmas you can each have and that new year is blessed with health and love for you and yours

  • Great news chalky...know you will miss your cuddles but there will be plenty more; sure you all feel cream crackered...
Psso big hugs for you; the dark hole is a horrible place to be...
Mrs M what a lovely daughter! V thoughtful.
Hope people arent too manic amongst the preparations. Very relaxed here; went to a market this am but they dont seem to be as big on Christmas as we are so very low key! Nice read/snooze this afternoon and will now relax by the fire; kids mum and dad have gone out so just me and bessie mate with mince pie making and chatter! Excitement levels are rising though so some quite time for the kids planned in for tomorrow as always ends in tears!! Puzzle #2 is a tricky one!! Lots of sky so keeping my mum and L's oh busy!
love to all and special thoughts to those with hands and hearts laden...

    Evening all,

Chalky such good news, what a relief. It must have been hard to leave but you were there when you were needed, and isn't that what Grandmas are for? Much love and big hugs to you.

mrs mp more good news, stable sounds good to me too, and Lola gets home for christmas, which is wonderful. Your daughter sounds great, so thoughtful.

ISOM that's a good jigsaw, love the little dog in the back of the car. I used to like jigsaws but don't have a big enough table now, my own fault. Also I found that cats always like to 'help', which meant bits all over the floor! Glad you're enjoying your much deserved break.

Psso sorry you're in the dark hole, but we're past the shortest day now so it's all up for a while, well that's what I keep telling myself.

Pippa I'm so glad that things are getting a little better each day for DH, and I bet you had fun with DGS.

toots lovely pictures, thankyou. I wanted to put a card on here but it doesn't seem to happen, fuzzy brain syndrome strikes again.

roamin' hope you're not working too hard............

    Love to everone, xxx

roamin - oh no music drat - I like a bit of music on the old MP3 to get me going - I hope nothing "breaks" today - yes only one more sleepie - did you get your LH's SS??? I just cant wait for those ones - take good care - hope you get on ok with your jobs xxx

pippa - everytime I look at the Turkey etc I think of your OH and have a thought your way hoping he is going to enjoy tomorrows dinner and hoping he is getting stronger every day xxx

prfungi - lovely to see you - I hope everything goes well with latest Grandchild - are you keeping well? xxx

isom - how is your soundproofing - love to you and Mum over christmas xx

Well DS has given me an early christmas present "the lurgy" - I ache all over have a funny head and woke early so hot - but the show must go on so whilst I have a 101 jobs to do today - its mainly tiding up, bit of cleaning and preparing veg later so in the main some of the jobs if they dont get done wont spoil christmas - I do looooooooooooove my Son (NOT):rotfl:

I think the last week Ive completely stressed myself out what with arguements and unrest from "out laws" - then being told I was Vitamin D deficient - and to top it all off the Chemist said they would not order my supplements in as they have to order too many so go and get them elsewhere! - there are no health shops nearby so I was a bit stuck until I rang the chemist back the next day and there was a locum pharmasist who said there was no problem getting them - but now it will take a week or so due to xmas - oh joy !

Anyway Im going to try and chill today there has been no knitty going on - just a bit finishing off a neckwarmer for a present - I hope I have some woolly bits from Santa !

Well Im going to finish my cuppa (hope you have enjoyed your coffee Jean!)
Will get back in later - hugs to all - dont do too much xxx

  • morning all,
chalky thanks for sharing the pics, he is so gorgeous xxx
f1, hope the lurgy passes soon, my chemist is so frustrating too, they dont seem to like me bringing in pages of prescriptions every week, why cant they keep items in stock?
pam, hope your next grandchild arrives with no problems
mrs mp stable is good news, and hopefully the other little one will be home soon

well i turned 14 yesterday, (bit dyslexic getting numbers back to front lol) daniel bought me a lovely king cole knitting pattern for a long cable cardigan. i am told the wool for it is for my prezzie tommorrow in my fav colour, pink. will make a change to knit something for myself again. havent knitted for myself since before i broke my wrist in summer.

best get finished with the prezzie wrapping before i go see some friends this morning. tommorrow morning will be spent with my parents and daniel, then me and danny are meeting my friends for lunch at an indian restaurant in town.
boxing day wil be a second xmas for us and again will be spending time with my parents and also joshua, as josh dosnt want to come on xmas day as he is spending it with his own friends. shall miss him greatly tommorrow. in fact i'll miss them both waking on xmas morning rushing down to see if santa has been, or at least rushing to see there presents.

love and gentle hugs to all, special prayers to the babies, those that are ill, or caring for loved ones, those that are feeling sad
