Hi
Nice and frosty here !!!!
Off to do shopping for the mum's and toddlers cafe we do on a Friday, then back home to warm up I think lol.
Tomorrow there's a craft fair at Lacock tomorrow, so hubby and I are going along, and then we'll hve lunch there. Thinking I'll do a packed lunch, and not eat out, and save some pennies :-) I made some soup yesterday I could heat it up and put into flasks :-) pop some bread in the machine tonight :-) Yum. I wonder if I do that, and extol my virtues of being thrifty etc, hubby will agree to 'pop' out to the Hobby Craft on the outskirts of Swindon ???? :-) I prefer Cribbs Causeway's store, but that would be a no no, so the Swindon one is better than none at all :-)
Ok. Must run.
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to all in need ((((hugs)))) Love you all.

Hi everyone - still feeling very bunged up with this allergy, but not quite as bad so, hopefully, it's on the way out.
Pippa - I was thrilled to read your news about your OH. You must be so relieved.
Chalky - so sorry to hear about your neighbour. Poor DH - I know what that feels like but, touch wood, it hasn't happened for ages. I hope he feels better soon.
Prfungi - please tell Shaz that I'm thinking of her.
I'm just waiting now to hear from my sister about how BIL got on with his chemo yesterday. It's her birthday today, but I don't think they'll be doing much celebrating, poor things. I'm just longing to be back there - three weeks today until we leave, thank goodness.
Anyway, I shall go and have another cup of hot homemade lemon cordial with honey, which seems to helping me more than anything else at the moment.
Will call back later. Hugs to you all.

Chalky I see the news of your lovely neighbour - while I scooted through, what a horrid thing to happen right out of the blue. Hope you made the airport OK.
Pippa.s glad to see the great report on all fronts for your DH....its all the great feeds you are giving him, keep at it.
Today I went to the supermarket to pick up a couple of bits......in and out the door I THOUGHT.............well no sooner in and they locked the doors......next thing is cops everywhere...........obviously someone was not intending to pay for something..BUT IT WASN'T ME............lots of angry shoppers, after absolutely everyone's stuff was raked over, they eventually let us out ........how to have a fun Friday morning in FRANCE..... couldn't have happened on a Monday morning when hardly anyone was in the rotten shop! It was NEARLY as good as the bomb scare in Naples but I think that is still winning in my book. Have a great weekend. DH is off to UK this evening and it can't come quick enough, I will now go and wrap the last of the parcels he needs to have with him, then settle for a couple of weeks of calm - before the storm. Back later Lovlies

Hi
A quick good morning to you all :-) Was going to pop on last night, but ran out of time. We were looking in at a local pub. A friend from church was having a birthday drink there, and also, our worship leader runs an 'open mic' once a month there, he brings a long his guitar, and does live music, and anyone esle can do a stint as well. People turn up with their instruments, and music, wait for a slot, then do some entertaining. It's really good. Much better talent going on there, than on Xfactor lol :-)
We had a good day yesterday. Nipped into Hobby Craft at Swindon. My 24yr old fancied a sewing machine sometime or other. I've got one, but it's old, and heavy. She wanted a more portable one. Hobby craft had some at a price I thought reasonable, but when we looked in at Pound Stretchers, we got the same one half the price :-) Very pleased with that, and so is she :-)
I have two birthday babes today. A son , my Carfiff boy, who is 26 today. He's driving up to see us :-) and a daughter who's 19 :-)
Anyway. Have to fly. Church this morning, and I'm looking after the 3-5's and still have stuff to get ready for them.
Have a blessed and prosperous day.Hugs to all who need one ((((hugs)))) Love you all.
