Hi just a quickie does anyone know when the deadline for the Operation Christmas items to puppetlady need to be in by I seem to have bypassed the fact that we are in November already and it was not until yesterday that DS reminded me that his bits for school need to be there by tomorrow aaggghhhh - I really am hopeless I start with all good intentions and then my fuzzy brain etc forgets - if Im too late for the Puppetlady I can give them into school so at least they wont be wasted but I do feel very guilty as I promised to send them !!!

Had a day from Hell today when I went for the new driving Licence, the queue was all round the walls and at least two folk walked off in disgust before they were seen, I had a book with me..................she didn't like the way I filled the form in, she didn't appreciate that I didn't have my original licence (I did have a photo copy which I had scribbled all over at some stage), and then NOT ONLY could I not remember my own phone number....I didn't have my marriage certificate with me (proves that my married name is legal and not my maiden name its a very French thing - so fished in my bag and gave her my carte sejour instead -ID CARD- which is about three years out of date). She asked for my s.s.a.envelope...so I had to write that out, OH and to add further joy to my visit SHE DIDN'T LIKE MY PHOTOGRAPHS.............So I was sent off to get another FIVE TAKEN........to be honest they are just as ugly as the first lot, so when I went back in, I didn't wait in any queue, just marched right in and DH lifted her scissors off the desk cut up the photies left her two and said a swift goodbye! Oh this should take anything up to 6 months to achieve and she informed me as I had asked for HGV (for the PAMPERVAN) I need to have an annual visit to the doctor for a check up............boy am I boiling!
Apart from that little incident everything is just fine - well till the next round...........which is to be the measuring of the garden next door.........appointment cancelled another made - but we had to sign the quote and drop it back to them (TODAY) with a deposit and they will come some time on the 29th November.......I did warn them that its totally overgrown and when the light goes you can't see a sausage........WHY DO I BOTHER? Off to catch up with the postings back in a bit, but in the meantime love and cuddles to you all. Sorry I rant a bit!
    x

LOVE THE 'YOU CAN'T SEE ME' hat........believe we could sell that idea to others as a way of disguising themselves in crowds...there again you might walk into lamp posts! ha ha
