Hi all, did a long chatty post last night - phone rang and internet connection dropped - and I lost it so I went and sat in the corner and sulked.:(
I know I should have done it in a word doc like you Jean, but you know me, brain isn`t always in gear.
Just loved the blankie and now the apron too - terrific idea. If you need any `bits` just let me know and I`ll go a-shopping for you.:(
Socky - just be careful with that wrist. Take it easy for the next couple of weeks and if the move goes ahead get the boys to help with the packing, sorting etc. even if it means a bit of bribery.;)
Mummyoftwins - I also have twins but mine are a good bit older than yours. They are 38  gosh how did that happen ?
I`m afraid it doesn`t get any easier really - just the problems get different - I still worry about them.
Pippa - hope your OH gets something to help him with the swallowing as Toots suggested. Swallowing razor blades  Blimey, it`s bad enough when you have an ordinary sore throat.
Kathy and Chalky - I can feel your excitement from here. Roll on Christmas.
Right I`m off now to finish the main body part of my blanket and get started on the strips tomorrow.
Not sure about the lollipop angels Pippa, one of those impulse buys methinks which may never get done. Time will tell.
Forgot to say Welcome to all the newbies we have. Nice to see more of you coming out to play.
Big hugs to all who need them - you know who you are.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

Evening
just having a look as my hand is seizing up having done so much knitting this evening.
Pippa Has anyone suggested Fortisip for your hubby. They do the concentrated ones now 100mls which contain 300 cals. When I was in hospital a couple of months ago I couldn't eat and ended up having the Fortijuices which were 200mls containing 300 cals. Some of them were not too bad flavour wise and when cooled were quite palatable.
Shaz Easy to say and not so hard to do but try not to worry your son is in the best place if he is at the hospital.

knitted the fiddliest thing last night a teeny prem hat on dpns it took all night and is tiny, i really do have an uodthodox stlye of knitting and only hold one needle so it was really difficult for me. i normally wedgr the other needle in my right thigh but cant do that with dpn's so flailing about a bit. its turned out alright but need to do another now.
SK hope the swpa goes well an i hope Josh will be aright, as hard as it is id stay away and let him think hes getting what he wants, he'll soon be ringing asking where you are. Hugs fr you

Afternoon all!
had a lovely time at knitting club thanks ISOM, no more tired than usual the next day. What sort of hoover do you have? Nothing strange about beng able to pick up dirt with less effort! Hope that you car is well again soon.
Socky - fingers crossed that the home swap goes ahead smoothly. Don't forget convalescent period after plaster comes off - perhaps a little physio but not straight back to normal! Apart from normal situation Josh proably in shock when in hospital, so don't take it personally
mioliere - would love to see your blog if you are allowed to tell us the address?
Loved the caramel blanket by the way (sorry, brain very foggy, can't remember who) did you do a boarder around every square and then sew them together and then do a boarder around the blanket?
Someone did their post in Word and then transferred it - I think that I should have a go at that next time as I can't hold in my head all the little replies that I thought of as I read through! Have to surfice to say, best wishes to all and hope that you have a great day!0 -
Yes Seakay I did the squares then decided on the "join it together and make it look proper job" COLOUR, so went round each one finishing off the outside last. Still going to
try the CHALKY edge tho' think it was 5 DC's then 5 chain making a wee loop ???? which will make it even more posh!
Yep I do my replies normally on WORD DOC then JUST copy and paste it onto the forum- that was MAYTAURUS' tip like you she can't always concentrate, so does a little bit every day- when I get a minute or two I can scoot through then add to the doc as I go along. SO TOOTS if I want a bobble scarf I just need to TELL YOU! HA HA.
ok lunch 2 hours is over and I better go and get stuck back in...........Later lovelies...............cuddles to you all.

OH ANNE MY FAVOURITE ALL TIME FILUMN.........A" DON'T KNOW NUTHIN ABOOT BIRTHIN NO BABIES" dragging the stick along the fence.....................I watch it about one a month now....
I am being cautious honestly but am so fed up with the mess in the courtyard (weeds now joining up and looking like a scabby lawn) also I love the sewing machines. Like you Anne its getting a tad chilly so I can see the woodburner being on permanently shortly (it feeds the CH too). Also Scrambled eggs.....DH made me eat them while I was having the Radio GAGA that and porridge which I just lovely anyway, too tired to be bothered most of the time but he has kept me on the straight and narrow this whole while and is still doing the cooking. Think I better write to Santa asking for something really special for him as a thank you. Off to catch up with the me mails that I owe. Have a lovely evening folks.

I know what you mean about the tiredness, OH could fall asleep at the drop of a hat but he keeps fighting it, I told him if he feels like sleep to just let go it will do him good
He has eaten all his scrambled egg :T he managed a small amount of porridge this morning, and half of one of the puds he had from the hospital but thats all he has had today, he does drink lots of water though. I will get him to have some supper later.
