There comes a time in life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama & the people who create it & surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget about the bad and focus solely on the good. After all, life is too short to be anything but happy!Try and do a good deed every day.0 -

Afternoon all
Just a quick post from me as we are off to the QE hospital soon OH's appointment is at 1:30, hope it's a quick one today yesterday was a long one, he had to see the oncologist after his treatment so it was another wait and even more high concentrated foods and painkillers, trouble is he can't taste anything and has a lot of trouble swallowing now, he has lost 2lb since last week. Doc said he must try to keep his weight the same because if he lose's too much the mask wont fit and then he will have to make another one, so that will be another week tacked on the end of the treatment  as it is it goes on until 2nd Nov
Have sent all my I.S Hats off as the deadline is 14th.Oct and they go on sale in Sainsbury's and Boots on the smoothie bottles 2nd.Nov. Wonder how many they will collect this year?
Haven't read back yet will do when we get back
TTFN take care and luv to all

WOW I have loads to catch up with – so this is a word doc and I will now go and get the forum up and do all the answers questions chat thing I should be doing on a daily basis but never seem to have enough time GRRRRR
CHALKY beautiful little pressies you have done....I bet its really difficult for you not to be the OTT future Grandma......I think you deserve a medal for holding all that excitement in...come December tho' you can really go to town (my bet is 21st then Gilberto/Gilberta will share my birthday).
TOOTIFROOTTI- Have you spent a fortune yet on Kemps wool. PSSO always manages to try and temp us with that lot I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANY (till later in the year ha ha)
PSSO – Speaking off you glad to see the fishing expedition went really well, FISH as well as patterns – you need to share the name of that Loch and I will be in seventh heaven! I see you are also on for the trip to LH HQ for their Autumn fayre.......you lucky sausage, hope you have plenty of pennies for spending up a storm?
KNITTER NAN have you managed to collect that big bag of wool yet from you SIL? Was it all lovely mixed squishyness – hope you have lots of lovely plans to use it all up
MARRU spectacular start on the knitting front that wee blankie looks so lovely, well done – mine never look square either but then there are no SQUARE BABES so when they get all swaddled up in the blanket they look perfect anyway!
PIPPA.S hang on in there – you are both doing really well and some days are going to be far better than others. How are the UGGS coming on? Think I would prefer HUGS to them I did go and take a look at the pattern ,,,,,,,,that was as far as I dared go!!
ISOM – I do like cats I just keep forgetting to welcome your newby – a bossy boots as well, perhaps ISOKE will get some back bone and take charge – hope that you are ready to get back into the thick of work again after your time off – which I just know you are utilising to the best of your ability – knitting, crocheting, visiting folks etc
SOCK-KNITTER- the reason you didn't get the bungalow was because there was somewhere far better for you.....so its the FLAT and I like all the rest of the ladies have everything crossed....I will have to uncross stuff this pm as I am off to the VET Dentist for that reconstruction of molar malarky but I will continue with the positive vibes just for you.
WELCOME CAZAROL SORRY I always seem to be last to welcome folk, I hope you're into the swing of the knitting stuff – it is seriously addictive
MIOLIERE YOU are going to have to TRY very hard not to be TOO EXCITED just yet or by the time you are boarding the boatie you will be needing the tenna penny pants !!! Squish some yarn for me please! Oh and if you can hit FABRIC LAND and or FABRIC WAREHOUSE in S'ton I would be ever so happy to take stuff off your hands!
SEAKAY you can rant away any time day or night we can take it..........I just hope you can find the correct way forward for you, I know that Maytaurus suffers as well and its such a debilitating and mis understood disease.
MRS MONEYPENNY – I use a light/magnifier but similar to you find it a proper pain to be reading or working with other stuff – so I expect I too will need the glasses – I am holding out as long as I can tho' !
Right I am SO VERY NEARLY CAUGHT UP WITH YOU ALL, so will post this onto the forum and take up a whole page no doubt, I have some work done this week and will let you all in on it tomorrow when I should be done! Love and cuddles to every last one of you.........you know you want them. IF YOU ARE LURKING.......come out and let us know you are safe and well, please

Jean --- This is truly beautiful. Your crochet and choice of colours makes that a very special blanket.
Does it need to be flat! I quite like the cuddly curliness if the Lappy's!
I know some people block, spray and all other magical things but I read once that you have to do that after every wash so mine get a good tug and lots of cuddling!Try and do a good deed every day.0 -
It was a lesson in patience from start to finish that and learning the crochet squares from that book DS sent me OH then I found that website that said you could put it all together as you go..........WELL I COULDN'T, I take my hat off to you ladies who put togetherlappies andblankies. As a first it was an eye opener, my next will be a RIOT OF COLOURS. Also Chalky can you let me know how you edged my lapacuddleyghan.....looks like 4 DC's then 4 chain then 4DCsbut when I tried it - well lets just say I need a bit more practice. I shall just go and pull it all into shape then cuddle it a bit so that when it gets to DWS she will have all my cuddles enclosed within it as well as thinking of caramels, chocolates and luscious sweeties and porridge colours yum yum.The Hooligan Wooligan – age 9¾
