Pippa - I loved the book; have you read it? The film, as long as it was, misses quite a lot of the origjnal story. Although, as Rhett would say 'Frankly, my dear; I don't give a damn'! It's a book I shall read again one day. I've read my all time favourite, 'Forever Amber', by Kathleen Winsor, three times, and will read it again, I know! If you like a saga, it's a great read! I've just read 'A Year in the Merde' (French for s**t!) and, having been here for over two years, I found a lot in it to identify with! I'm now back reading another book about Chinese history - a real interest of mine.
Anyway, back to work; I've just been asked to do two pieces of writing for tomorrow, so I'd better get cracking on that!

evening all, had a very lazy day today, been to a friends house, had fish and chips for lunch and sandwhiches for tea, rest of time just sat chatting and laughing, just the medicene i need. AND if i get the flat, i'll be just round the corner from her and her son so they will be able to vist me also, at the mo i am too far away for them to walk, as they both have difficulty walking far.
just got back in having a warm milky drink while on the tinternet, then an earlyish night for me
hugs all

Only just popping in as we are so busy catching up with everyone and everything before we catch the ferry on Sunday. We have had our gear God Daughter for tea (the one who has the cuddly corner) and when we took her home the Sunshine Bus suddenly became very poorly. Warning lights flashing and beeping and lots of other horrible things! He is NEVER poorly so we shall have to see what our kind garage has to say in the morning!! Hopefully it will be good news as we have the ferry on Sunday and a 600+ mile journey from Santander to Turre so he really does need to be fighting fit--- especially as he has the all important wool to carry!!!!! Lots of love to all --- I will fill you in with news tomorrow but please keep all fingers etc crossed xTry and do a good deed every day.0

Hi everyone
Dawn - I do hope you feel better soon. I have completed my SS form; what a good way of collecting details!
Chalky - oh, no, not the sunshine bus! Fingers crossed that you can sort it out in time. At least it happened now and not while you were on already on the way!
Shaz - this flat sounds perfect for you, especially if it's near such a good friend. I hope you hear soon.
Well, the sun is shining madly so I've whipped the sheets of the bed to get them on the line. It was cool yesterday, and even rained in the morning, so I wasn't expecting such a good day today!
Will call back later.
