Hello everyone
Well the answer to nights of restless sleeping is to only sleep every other night-- Went to bed last night and slept for 12 hours!!!!!!!! unknown -- even though I do love my bed!
I am very anxious that I do not miss anybody out in my comments to individuals -- So, in case I do -- please can I put it down to still being a bit woolly and please be assured it is not intentional.:lovethoug:lovethoug
Please accept one of these sent to you all.
May -- Special gentle thoughts to you tomorrow saying a final goodbye to your Mum is such a hard thing to do. May your pain gently ease to leave happy memories that will last forever.
Pippa-- I have thought about you both so much whilst we have been away and send lots of love and caring thoughts as you both face the challenging days ahead.
[B]Seakay-- I do hope you begin to feel brighter soon
Jean Hope you have a good time with the " monsters" but make sure you do not overdo things! Can't wait to hear about your transformation of woolly parcel which I was glad to hear arrived safely!
Shaz How I wish lady luck would start to hold you in her gaze. I hope the wrist gets better really quickly, the boys realise what a special Mum they have and you feel truly appreciated and cherished.
Kathy Hope you are both well in your corner of France and life quietens down for you so that you can get on with your lovely hooking!
Salome-- Where has the summer gone! I am sure you will have had a busy time with your lovely family
f1-- Nearly the beginning of term again-- I hope you have had a good summer with your family and you are managing a bit of " out and about" time
Anankat Your work is so beautiful and it is so lovely to see the pictures- Thank You!

Psso-- How is "J" -- I bet he is running around too -- Hope your new job is going well!
Mrs MW-- Hope you are soon back to full strength.
Mrs Moneypenny -- What a lot of finishing you have done -- I am doing the same right now!
ISOM So glad post proved reliable even if it was a tad slow!!!!
Good news on the results -- Hope there is some more good news on the exams front soon!
Well I am working my way through my mega lists of " must do" items -- Some of them are prefixed with the Chri******* word!!!!
Lots of love xTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
Well I was right ! 1 good nights sleep in 2!!!!
I tossed and turned for an hour and then gave up-- Still these things do not stress me at all -- more crafting time!!!!
I have just made some rather special burp/dribble cloths for Baby Gilberto. Not that he will burp or dribble of course!!!
He is due in 16 weeks == The time seems to be flying by -- for me!!! DDIL says he is a real gymnast -- she is so small I think she feels every movement!
I will put some pictures on tomorrow-- probably after lunch when I wake up!
May - I expect you are having an unsettled night too so a big hug for you and anyone else who has been sharing the dark hours xx
When I wake, I think of DD2 so far away nearly ready for an afternoon cuppa!
Right had a cup of tea and done my sewing so lets try again!Try and do a good deed every day.0 -
Hi everyone.
Maytaurus - will be thinking about you today.
Pippa - life seems to be dealing you some worrying blows lately. You and your OH are in my thoughts.
Shaz - I think about you and the boys a lot and hope that life settles down in a way that suits you all.
Anakat - you've been busy! The hats are all wonderful!
Chalky - I'm glad you back amongst us, where you belong!
Well, believe it or not, we had yet another massive thunderstorm last night. DH heard it and came racing downstairs to unplug everything. When I got up, I plugged it all back in and now I can only access certain things on the internet! This is a new problem;I have become an expert on dealing with the usual Livebox problems, but the Livebox I am now using is a replacement for the one that got damaged in the last storm; it's a new design so behaves differently from the last one. I know - you must be as confused as I am! Anyway, it looks like I may have to, once again, phone that irritating Orange helpline when it opens at 9am (no such thing as 24 hour service here!). I'm not sure what the problem is - the phone is working, and all the lights on the Livebox are on correctly..... Oh, well, what's new?
If I suddenly disappear, you'll know why!
Yesterday, despite my best intentions, the day got completely hijacked. Friends of ours have parents coming out next month, so they wanted to see the holiday home I look after to see if it was suitable, so I took them round and they loved it. The grass at the holiday home needed mowing, and the chap who has the house next door to it asked if we could take some stuff to the tip for him, then both DH and I had to keep appointments to get our hair cut - which was absolutely desperate, especially for him; he was starting to look like a long-haired layabout! Mine's long so I can tie it back, but neither of us wanted DH's to get to that stage! Anyway, we both look a bit more presentable now!
I'm hoping for a more normal day today but of course that now depends on getting the Livebox sorted out. I'll come back when I've done that.

Squares: 11, Animal blankets: 20 -
fulltimemum - welcome aboard. I`m still trying to work out how the wasp search brought you to us ?? Never mind, you are in good company here. I use double knitting and old size 8 needles, 4mm if you are more modern, and cast on about 32 stitches then just knit every row or knit one row then purl the next, depending if you want garter stitch or stocking stitch to keep it simple. I often vary the stitches I use just to keep things interesting.
Typed "Wasp" into Forum Search like this and this thread is about 8th on the list!!!
I've no joined lovinghands and hope to knit either Teddies for Tradegy or Angel Bears. Just got to get hold of some needles.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -

Well I have been a bit foggy all day after a very productive sleepless night!
Knew it was time to stop when I sewed the bib with the wrong side facing and took the pictures on the camera to pop on here without the card in the camera!
So now it's chill out time and hopefully a more settled night tonight!
