Knit Your Square to Give Your Share - PART 4

Hi everyone.
It's very quiet here lately! Time of the year, I think! I've been busy with the holiday home with one set of guests leaving on the same day as the next lot arrived, so lots of bed-making and so on!
Maytaurus - you are never far from my thoughts.#
Mrs MW - would love to know how you are.
Jean - hope life is well with you?
Shaz and Pippa - hope the wrists are healing?
Chalky - have a safe trip back home!
Luckily, after a too-hot weekend it's a bit cooler today, for which I am very thankful! We've had a few thunderstorms, too, so that has meant unplugging everything to avoid a repeat of the last fiasco!
Anyway, I will get the update done tomorrow, for both this week and last week. Salome, I wish I knew where the time was going! It just seems to evaporate lately!
I haven't touched any woolly stuff for a few days now but will try and put that right over the next day or two. I sorted out my WIPs but they are still WIPs!

afternoon everyone, spent part of last night back in casualty, hand had swollen, and plaster cast was too tight, cutting off the circulation, making my fingers go a funny colour, so they have cut both sides of the cast to open it up, and wrapped a bandage round to hold it together. findind it very frustrating, not being able to do crafty stuff.
joshua says he never wants to see me again, not ever. then he text saying need shopping, come with me so i can use your staff discount card, and will see me every week thereafter just to go to supermarket,
daniel hasnt been to see me either, just constantly rings and texts and asks for more money. told him the bank of mum had ceased trading lol
neither have asked how i am let alone offer to cook a meal, wash up or anything, thankfully my mum is an angel, despite her own health problems, shes helping me also
hugs all

Love to all - I sense we are all a little bit weary and preoccupied at the moment!0 -
Seakay - I think you're right about us all being weary and preoccupied. That's what life does to us, I suppose.
I've had a FB natter with Chalky this evening. You can tell she's had a brilliant time but she's really looking forward to getting back home. She says she fancies a cottage pie, or sausage, mash and onion gravy - you can't beat good old British home cooking! I think she'll need to recover from the inevitable jet lag then I'm sure she'll be back with us doing her usual bonkers things!
Hope you are all having a relaxing evening.

Hi everyone. Does anyone know where the time goes? The day has raced by and now it's almost dinner time. I promise I will get the update done tomorrow!
Mrs Moneypenney - there's nothing wrong with sitting drinking tea and chatting!
Chalky has announced on FB that she is now safely back on British soil, so I'm sure we'll here from her once the jet-lag has done its thing.
Well, off to check the dinner.

Evening all;
Sorry to hear things bad with the boys socky - being young free and single is a new thing to them but in time they will come to realise that their new friends can be a pain but mum is always a constant source of support! Well done you though for not caving in with money and great that mum is being such a star! Hope the hand settles toobig hugs for you
Sounds very manic in roaming and miol land! Get some rest as well girls - esp roaming as that there bod needs healing.
Pippa any news on oh treatment?
Mrs m are you now back to ususal strength? Good for you having a good natter! As for running out of tea surely thats sinful?!!
No wooly stuff here but did give some wool to a daughter of a girl in work who wants to do some hooking and one of the young people today asked if someone could teach her how to knit! Was very enthused until I discovered she is left handed but will have a think about how we can do it...problem is people have to be crb checked etc...but it may be doable!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
