Shaz - that sounds hopeful, so fingers crossed. There's no way you should be left with nowhere to turn. It would be wonderful if you could get some serious respite care so I'm really hoping and praying that the call to West Yorks ADHD support triggers the sort of care and attention that you and your boys need.

Hope you are enjoying a relaxing evening.

Shaz - so glad that you are feeling more positive. I hope you have a good day today. Fingers crossed that the phone call gets results - in the meantime, we are here for you virtually, although I'm sure we all wish we could be there for real.

Well, I finished the crocheting bits of the doll I'm making for Summer - just have to sew it up now. I never feel like sewing up in the evenings, probably because we have lamps on and the light is not bright enough. I'll do it by the window this afternoon then I have the really dreaded bit of putting a face on it!

It's cooler and a bit cloudy today - great for DH who is up in the loft; it's been baking hot in there for days now.

Hope everyone has a great day. I haven't had a reply to my email to Maytaurus, so I'm really worried for her now. May - if you're reading this, please just pop in and say 'hello'.

Good Morning to one and all
Shaz -- Try and keep the feeling of positivity going even though it must be really hard--- Enjoy the knitting group.
Mrs M-- So sorry about such a sad diagnosis. I hope you can manage to keep your FIL comfortable and pain free. A sad time for your family xx
Kathy -- Hope cooler weather helps progress. I hate putting faces on too. Apparently there is a pencil that you can mark with and then the marks disappear. Sounds good.
Shelley -- Gentle thoughts to you and Mum
Purple Teddy Bear -- Thanks for the offers of hedgies --- Really helps with the postage costs. That is really kind of you.
May -- We miss you as we miss all our MIA'S XXX

Well Doh is now on the wallpapering in the hall -- so last lap. The trouble is there are better things to do in life!!!

Right I must get on -- not sure what with but get on I must.
    Be back later
Try and do a good deed every day.

Mrs Moneypenny - so sorry to hear the sad news. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Chalky - I'll have to see if I can track that pencil down. It sounds ideal. Yes, it is cooler in the attic but DH still needs regular cuppa top-ups!

I'm happy to report that I seem to have re-located my Yahoo Messenger, after hours of persistence - still haven't heard from Yahoo but, hopefully, I don't need them now!

My other mystery is how on earth the cat got in last night; DH swears he didn't get up in the night and let him in but, there he was first thing this morning waiting for his breakfast! He must have made his own catflap somewhere!

Anyway, I've just looked out of the window and it's actually raining - first time for ages. I'd better get the washing in.

I've just been on to Wooligans; I haven't been able to access it since I lost my Yahoo connection but, thankfully, I 'found' it again, so I've just been looking at all the wonderful photos on there. There is such a lot of talent to be found in our happy band!

    Hi all,

Just a quick pop in to let you know I found Maytaurus`s address and have sent a card to let her know we are missing her.
Hopefully she, or a member of her family, will get in touch soon. She`ll probably appear any moment with one of her lovely posts - sods law.

Thanks Kinsey for the handwarmer link, I prefer your `straight across` top rather than the picot edge so I`ll do it that way I think. Looks tidier if you know what I mean. I`ve got some wool in my stash which should do nicely - shame I won`t have an excuse to go to the wool shop though.

Sorry to hear you`re having a tough time Shaz but hopefully you`ll get something sorted out soon. I think it`s terrific how people on here can point us in the right direction to get help, and support each other in times of trouble. Long may it continue friends.

mrs-moneypenny - try not to wear yourself out running to and fro. You`ll meet yourself coming back one day if you aren`t careful. Remember to sit down and rest for a while, I know it`s difficult when everyone seems to be relying on you, but you have to take care of yourself too. ((hugs)) for you and the family at this difficult time.

Off to have a hunt for some wool - I`m doing a lap blanket - big granny square - and I`ve run out of the stuff I`m using with just about 3 inches of the round to do . I thought I had some more but blowed if I can find it. Might have to rip out the last round I did and use something else. Grrr.

See you soon, stay warm and cosy if you have weather like ours, wet windy and downright COLD. Summer ??? Huh.

Evening all...sorry feel youve been neglected! Have been doing fronteiveille and takes up too much time - next task is to kill it off!
Socky sorry having such a tough time ...hope those details were of use. PLEASE no more jokes about shooting social workers though - all to often threats are real as people reach desperation level and i would hate to think of you in trouble; plus as one who has been threatened by clients in the past its a horrible feeling...
Mrs M hope that they manage pain and that remaining time is filled with happy meories and good times shared, despite the circumstances..
