Hello one and all and lots and lots of love tucked in. Well we are all ready to go so will just have a lasagne I made last week and froze for tea then we leave just after 6.00 in the morning!
I am still very sad about DD --- She has been very shaken by it but luckily has some friends with her, Apparently one had to cuddle her to sleep the first night as she could not stop crying!!
Yesterday the ******* texted her friends phone cos they had tried to ask them to at least pass the Passport in but they just sent a message laughing at her! What horrible people!
Anyway -- tough learning ! Wish she was here coming with us!
Well lots of gentle thoughts to all those with their hands overflowing with troubles or joy.

singing - It`s raining ,it`s pouring, the little man is snoring.........
Nice yesterday, absolutely carp today, even the dogs don`t want to be out in it.
Do you want me to send you some wet, watery weather to cool you down?
Chalky- What a shame about bags/purses going missing. Rotten blighters will get their comeuppance hopefully. Karma has the habit of biting you on the bum when you least expect it if you`ve been bad. Hold on tightly to your own bag chalky, you know what they say about things coming in threes.
Kathy & Jean - Red tape in France - it`s enough to make you come back to Blighty
Socky - hope things are on the up for you now. Fingers crossed for the house. At least you`ll know the boys won`t go hungry if you are providing bits and pieces for them.
Tootifrooti - what a short list of ufo`s you have, compared to mine anyway :rotfl:. I keep finding more things I had forgotten all about.
(I really should stop looking in the dark corners)
I`m in SERIOUS butterfly mode just now, can`t settle to anything at all. I cast on a little Jean Greenhowe stocking last night and got about half way up before putting it down again. Picked up crochet hook and wool to do a big square blanket and got fed up with it, not sure I like the colourThought I`d do a scarf with the bobble wool from Lidl but couldn`t get it cast on properly - eventually managed with only a few helpful `naughty words` but then was so fed up I went to bed with a book. Blow me, I couldn`t even concentrate on that! Swift kick up the nether region might help.
Suppose I`d better go and do the spuds as it`s my turn to cook tonight, sausage casserole is bubbling away nicely.

Afternoon everone,
Well roamin' it worked, the sun finally got here. Yes I finished the conversetrainers, if you tell me where you have the problem I may be able to help.
Chalky I should be able to start the next pair by the weekend, still very weak and feeble but a bit better every day. I won't go into it because there are so many much much worse. So sorry for your daughter, it must be awful being so far away.

whooooo!!! better than nowt eh! Ive some sewing up to do but will wait a few days and be as prepared as I can be!
Kinsey didnt realise you had been poorly too...hugs for you; hope you feel back to strength soon - nothing worse than feeling rubbish
Roaming good to hear that youve been listening to the bod and pacing yourself; same for mr Pippa! Slowly slowly...
Chalky grrrr is all I can say and what goes around comes around (biblical as well as karma!!)...thank goodness DD has people to support her over there. Sure all will be well but can understand your upset/frustration at being so far away...have a fab holiday and enjoy the wedding!
At last sunny here but has been raining intermittently which, in August, is a tad naff isnt it!
Tonights task has been to make cheesecake for tomorrows team lunch (done) and try and cut the rest of the quilt...measuring has never been my strong point though!! Fingers crossed that I do it right! Wish I had space and REALLY look forward to a time when I at least have an open table to cut on and (date I wish it?) a craft room!
Socky fingers crossed for the bungalow...is it from the same agency you rent with now? In which case they may get you to jump the que as a larger house bound to be needed and even better for you is that you want have to move again!! Keep us posted and well done for managing to stick to your guns... They may not thank you now but later when they look back will see how much your actions show that you want the best for them...hang in there me lovely!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1!
