  • Hi Peeps.......got a whole big box of cupcakes (144) they need stuffing and stitching up, AND cases done. Got another box of
Snowpeeps(50) they need stitching up stuffing and features put on - no rush with either job. Been hot and sunny here today as well, so I have stayed indoors away from it...I can go from Scottish Blue to Lobster Red in 10 minutes!

Shaz, perhaps its a hard lesson for Josh to learn and you certainly couldn't have warned him - he wouldn't have listened to you BUT by now he is probably wondering just why it all went to rats.........I have high hopes that when you flit to the bungalow and make a fresh start both your lads will be supportive - they are just spreading their wings at present, best way to learn is by mistakes.
F1, ISOM - as ToottiFrootti said - you only need to take the bull by the horns ONCE........dump them, as I have found this year especially life is far too short to be surrounded by misery - I refuse to have anything more to do with moaners and those that take take take all the time (NO I DON'T MEAN ANY OF YOU - YOU ARE MY CYBER CHUMS) - what I want are the happy smiley lovies - so will stick around here fordefinite!

ISOM hope that the cold bugs depart your house this weekend - never to return.

F1 I am being good honestly, but would love it if you all came to see me........I can make cake you know, just warn me so I can fling the feather duster round the beams

    UPDATE (RUBBISH)

4 EMERGENCY SQUARES - but I am working on more and I have a cunning plan for next week providing the knitting machine doesn't play up!

Off for a wee bit of crochet sitting in the comfy chair, back tomorrow to check on you all till then be good!

tooti you sure have been busy!
Roaming youve been busy too but I hope not too busy and that there has been some chilling amongst the making!
Busy collating things here and getting organised! Done a surprising amount of the quilt but laid it out and its a bit shorter than I would like so at this stage Ive two options...order more fabric to be posted or see if I can cobble sommat...the back I can redesign so I may JUST do it! Much of day spent doing that and sleeping for 3 hours...cold is neither here nor there so wish it would either come or bog off! Mums same and both of us sniffing...dont feel too rough though so thats good!
Hope chalky is having a nice time away.
F1 it must be the day for tidying - mums been doing her room!! Apparently lots has gone but at present looks like a small bomb has hit!!
Miol how are the renovations coming on? Dare I ask?!!
Socky sorry that things are rough; even more so that hes sold his stuff as he is going to have to learn the hard way I guess. Is he meant to be in supported living? In which case I would wonder what kind of monitoring the staff are doing as they should be keeping an eye out...Hope your bungalow sorted soon as will be a fresh start for you...big hugs. Even though I dont know what you look like I have visions of you careering round town on a scooter!! hehe!
Right off to do sommat vaguely productive!!

    morning all,
isom, your comment of me whizzing round town on scooter made me smile. me and mum go for long walks round a country park not too far from home, i usually walk, and mum hires a scooter, but sometimes, if i'm feeling down and cant be asked walked i'll hire a scooter too, to go with her. i'm 40 years old, tall, and slim, and perfectly cabable of walking, just a bit lazy at times, but would never hire one, if there was only a couple left, in case someone really needed one, they usually have loads there just waiting
have almost finished pink baby cardigan that i've been knitting, just a sleeve to complete, and neckband to do, hopeing to finish it today.
tootifrutti, i have many unfinished items too, some going back years lol
if i get the bungalow, i dont know where i'd fit all my knitting, and wool, currently have a loft full, still i suppose i will find room somewhere
    hugs all

    Part of the Furniture
    Afternoon all

weather has been good here for the last couple of days, so nice to feel warm and not need a jacket to go out in

chalky - what a lovely assortment of blues, your little DGS will be nice and cuddly snuggled up in it :D
ISOM - hope the cold makes its mind up soon and does one ;)
tooti - my goodness what a lovely lot of UFO's :rotfl:
shaz -:mad:grrrr what sort of a friend is that, but Josh will have learnt a valuable lesson not to trust so easily....and as the saying goes "we live and learn".... its just a pity it has to be so hard sometimes.
So pleased you enjoyed your 'walk in the park' it will do you good to get out.
f1 - I've had a lurker headache for 2 days now, if it has'nt gone after Lunch I will resort to the painkillers, cant stand it much longer
jean - dont you go overdoing it:naughty:

I have spent an hour or so tyding my stash today as well, hmmm must be something in the air

better go the oven is screaming at me...(((hugs))) all
