aww thanks all; unfortunately the collegue and I just dont get on and are unlikely to without both of us having a change in personality - she is very direct and blunt and I now tend to err on the side of unassertive (whoda thought eh!!) and it would seem that never the twain shall meet; plus she treats me like I am compleatly stupid which just infuriates and makes me retreat even further into my shell with absolute crossness! grrrr!
Anyway; had a lovely day getting fabric for l's quilt which is mega bright, in your face and fabulous so suits her perfectly! Will try update a piccy later...its "a sweet baby quilt" in tumbling blocks by Crazy mom quilts and I love it - just have to cut 200 blocks now so thats the task for the weekend. No spinning as cant face the M4 again.
Socky hugs for you...call the police as and when necessary...
roaming love the cakes - could the pattern be modified for boobies?
Am on the way to finishing spreadsheet for chalky so she will have regulars details and hope to get it done this wend
Ironing ugh...saw a lovely sign today that said "ironing is the only possible reason for going to work!" which made me chuccle!
Chalky what lovely news about new munchkin. I do wonder if there is an increase in boy babies as so many being born at the mo...I dont know anyone who is due a girl if late. Saw the gorgeous A yesterday...hes got lovely chubby legs but is teething so has nasty wet ezcema bless him...after a horrible day yesterday he made it all better iykwim? Very healing hugs and giggles he gave! Gorgeous to see his reaction when daddy got home too! giggles and happiness abound; v special!
Right off for snooze before cutting!

    Evening all

Just nipped on to lurk - couldnt resist a quick chat

isom - funny I seem to attract people who make me feel 2cm tall and off I crawl into a corner - I have a few around me now who love to overpower me and always make me feel stupid - I was once told to when you look at them imagine them naked ............... ( i think i would rather they overpowered me :D) - I know its hard and i dont practice what I preach but you are the better person - big hugs honey - by the way M4 saga my friend surprised me with a visit - came from wales and was travelling back that day - got re-routed round stockport(?) did not have a clue where she was going bless her - had a panic and had to call her partner - it took her 2.5 hours to get here and the next day nearly 6 hours to get back - I did feel sorry for her and then you when I saw you got held up in it xx

roamin - ive read your post and think we need a sing song how about "Its christmas - are you hanging out your stocking on the wall ........" I know you love a sing song - what do you say ......... xxx

sock-knitter - good luck with the new house - lovely new start for you - something to look forward to - I really dont know what to say about the boys - Im sure they dont mean it - they probably think they are so big and grown up now they have their own home they are just trying it on - i hope it wont last - they love their Mum - they say you hurt the ones you love the most - big hugs hon we are always here - even if only for a chat xxx

for all those lovers of ironing - I have a birthday card - black and white photo of someone in the 70's ironing - on it it says - " ironing is my second favourite activity - my first is banging my head on the wall until I pass out!" - i love it so much its on the side in my kitchen! - my sense of humour to a T

Night night - its late and i have not picked my needles up all day tut tut naughty me xxx
