isom, sorry to hear about your work colleuge, hope it gets sorted soon, and you have fabric shopping tommorrow to look forward to.
Been a difficult week, events on tuesday had me in a downward spiral, and after i phoned social worked on weds with an urgent request to get back to me asap, she still hasnt contacted me.
The safeguarding unit of the police, have been in touch today, to ask if they can help me any further, and said i must contact them in future if needed. feel lot calmer today, and things are quiet just now. dla benefit is in process of being changed from mine to their name, so they dont need to keep asking for money.
had a go at belly dancing this morn wich was fun, had a giggle.
plan on having a bath, and lots knitting time this evening

    hope everyone is well

  • Toots - we didnt get the website updated last challenge but Pam has been on today and brought it right up to date with the Autumn challenges, an update on progress etc. Our challenges are rolling along as always and with so many members they are always a roaring success ;0) This time we have boobs, prem baby and burial items, sands blankets, teddys for tragedy and their bags and cat toys - we are also doing our shoe boxes for Blythswood again ;0) I decided to go for small, quick and portable this time - just in case the nice weather comes and we all want to sit outdoors! :0)

Lots and lots of lovely hugs to you all
Some really good news!! Little Gilberto's 20 week scan went really well and we are expecting a Grandson in Dec. I have been hooking a blanket in baby blues which I really am loving ( love it even more now!!!) and it will be perfect.
When we got the call my Doh described me as a " madwoman bouncing up and down as if I was on a Pogo Stick!"
Apparently the scan was so clear they could see it was a boy straight away! They actually wanted a boy first so are thrilled.
They are not mentioning it on Facebook yet as not all the family are reachable! DD2 included! She will be thrilled!

Well love to you all -- xxx

Haven't had much time today, so I will catch up with you all tomorrow. I have done the update, though!

I just had to come on and congratulate Chalky on the news of a definite grandson! Well done to all - there are so very many shades of blue, so I'm sure he'll be well-crocheted for!

Hope you are all having a good evening. See you tomorrow!
