Good morning everybody -- hope things are calm in woolly land!
    Happy Birthday PTB

Mrs M -- The finishing fairy has left me and gone to you -- I don't mind but will you send her back when you have finished!

Pippa -- Lots of love after yesterday - Hope it went well

Shaz I hope each day becomes a little better for you. I was talking once to an elderly lady and she was talking about her relationship with her children. I have never forgotten her words.
"I chose to have my children. I have done my very best for them. They have bought me so much joy but I expect nothing in return and then anything I do get is a real bonus!
I expect just because of her attitude her children have given her loads. I find with mine they are much more communicative, willing ,responsive if I let them do
    things on their terms.
I am sure with your boys this is just an initial taste of freedom, and soon it will be there is no-one like Mum. They will respect you more if you are fair and steadfast, consistent and always ready with a listening ear.

Well I am on the edging of Lappy number2 . It is amzing how the finishing touches bring it all together.

Next Wednesday the 3rd of Aug we fly to our nephews wedding in America -- Very exciting!
So I think it would be great if you could send any squares you have ready. I will try to to finish the lappys, but if you have not finished I am quite happy to carry on after our return on the 23rd Aug. But if you would rather save any you have not sent or send them to any other Kiss the Geezers project that is absolutely fine with me. I hope that makes sense!

Right we are off to DD1 to be cleaning fairies. A little leg up for her before all of us leaving next week. Buster makes a lovely hairy mess! I am really looking forward to spending time with all the family but am really trying not to think about DD1 on the other side of the world missing it!!!! And us missing her!!!!!

Lots of love to one and all
Try and do a good deed every day.

    Good morning everyone,

Well I've just typed a long post and it disapeared, how very annoying.

Chalky I tried to PM you and they said they couldn't find you?!! Can you come out of hiding please :) No idea whether the message went or not. You must be getting so excited about the trip to US. We want to hear all about how they do weddings there, just hope they're not as exhausting as the one mioliere went to. Have you got a new outfit? What's it like? Have fun and I know you'll take lots of photos.

Shaz I do hope you feel a bit better today, I can only agree with what everyone else has said. My boys, also twins, are 42 but still come to me with problems large or small, I'm pleased to say. The diffence now is that I can go to them with my troubles, and get two different answers of course.

PTB happy birthday, and we all want cake please.

ISOM well done on the weight loss, but I'm glad you've come off that horrid diet, you could have been really ill. Also well done with the spinning, I bet Isoke likes to 'help'. The next step must be shearing your own sheep. heh heh.

roamin' hope you're ok and managing to take things easy, well at least easier. Squishy hugs.

Pippa hope things are still going well with you and DH, squishy hugs to you as well, I've got plenty.

mioliere such good news about the farm, I'm so pleased you'd think I was personally involved, but I bet most of us feel that way. Mrs Pig sounds like a real character. I'd have loved to hear all the stories.

Love to everyone, especially the mia's, please pop in soon. xxx

    Hello everyone,

We had the most awful day yesterday, first off
In a nutshell, OH's car broke down and he's only had it 6 months would'nt mind but he has been telling the garage for weeks something was wrong they checked and kept saying "no everything ok":mad::mad:
Just when he needed to be calm....

Thank you all for your concern and good wishes it really is appreciated :A
Oncologist told us yesterday OH has to go to the Dental hospital to have his teeth checked before the mask is made and treatment can start, and if necessary they will remove any that may cause problems a couple of years down the line
I wont go into any more havent come to terms with it all yet.
TBH we rather had the floor knocked from under our feet

Jan and her OH popped in this morning was lovely to see them, upshot is we are meeting up at The Oak Tree at the foot of the Lickey Hills a bit later for a meal, the first time for ages hopefully it will cheer OH up a bit, he is quite down

Finished the 2nd Rainbow baby last night, cheerful little chaps/chapess's they are, I can see their little smiley faces poking out of my knitting bag now :)
