Godo afternoon MSE girlies - looks like my new challenges have been met with postivie vibes - I am always very nervous when I post them up and worry till I have had quite a few responses ;0) We had a lovely online coffee morning today as is now our norm at the end/start of new challenges - a chance to ask any questions, sort out patterns and materials and put the world to rights ;0)
I went for small, portable, stash busting projects this time - all very much needed items that dont take too long to do so everyone should see lots of results quickly ;0) There are boobs, prem baby and burial items, sands blankets, cat toys, teddies for tragedy with their bags and we are doing the shoe boxes for Blythswood again (we like these as they fill boxes for all ages from kiddies to oaps so nobody gets missed out).
Lots to choose from I hope and charities eagerly awaiting every item ;0)
Now off to go to town with Roxanne - Mr Lou decided not to go out today so he is going to be left here in charge of Jenna and grandkids - he wants a BBQ tonight as it is a lovely day so that is our excuse to escape for an hour or two in to town so Roxy can get her new shoes for neices baby's christening next Sunday ;0)
Talk soon - Huge HUGS to those who need them xxx Lou xxx0 -
I may have a go at some boobs...think that would appeal to mum as well! Am halfwaythrough the cable effect hat but did have to unpick pnce as wasnt concentrating! Shrug is coming on but veeeery slow as can only do a few rows at a time!
Nice am in church follwed by mad dash to sort allotment out so mum is now 1/2 owner with me so if i kick it she doesent loose it then to sains for "quick" shop which came to £20 for a few bits! Rest of the day is just chilling, snooze and nail painting in readyness for another onslaught tomorrow. Am out and about until Weds so days will go quicker!
Socky hope today is uneventful and relaxing

evening all
today was better with daniel, so why am i sat here crying?
answer, prob cos i just finished hoovering his room, and because we spent most of the afternoon emptying it, all that is left is a wardobe, (that he wants, but wont fit in my car) and a new mattress, there is nothing else there, no reminder of him, feel so sad

aww hugs for you socky...bound to be a wrench for you so have a good cry and get it out I would
Just cos his stuff isnt there it wont mean hes forgotten as he's in your heart and they will see you regularly. How about having a nice bath, food and some hooky stuff with some rubbish tv. Try stay away from teh alcohol as its a depressant and will make you feel worse!
Ive just Pm'd (I think) everyone on the kiss the geezers list so if youve not had a pm or email from me please let me know so I can get in touch
Hope poorlies have had a gentle day and those with an emotional cloud have seen at least a glimmer of sunshine (if not literal, metaphorical!!)
Big hugs

Big hugs from me too -- Hope you got my PM. xx
I can remember when my son left home I used to just lie on his bed because I could get his smell and cry my eyes out -- BUT this time does pass I promise xxTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
hi chalky, yes i got your pm, thankyou for such kind words, i keep re-reading them.
there is no smell of him in there, window been open for last couple of weeks, too much stuff on floor, so i couldnt get to it to close it.
also, and this will sound daft, but he has left behind a giant bad taste cuddly bear, meant for the charity shop, and thats got a down turned mouth, so i was sat cuddling that earlier, cos the bear looks unhappy now too
