Evening all - thank you so much for my birthday wishes and apologise for not getting back to you - I feel ive neglected you all xx

sock-knitter - I really dont know what to say other than big big hugs from me - if you need us you know we are here to listen - ive never had to deal with this but Im sure as chalky and others say it will get easier xxx

Other than a few hectic days with birthday bits and pieces my internet has been really really bad again (been like this since April!) and so the lovely BT have agreed to send new hub - its so slow or just cant get connected - this message has taken me an age to write as it is so will leave it there for now - I promise I havent fogotton you all and will talk more once puter is behaving itself (new hub appearing early part of week Hopefully!)

Socky -big hug just for you :grouphug:. (I know it looks dodgy) You`re bound to feel a bit emotional now the boys have flown the nest, I know I`ll be devastated when DD decides to move out with little J. I`ll miss him,not her :rotfl:, soooo much. Didn`t really bother me much when the older ones left home as I still had the younger ones here.

Chalky- you`ll soon be going on your hols won`t you, wedding in the States was it ?

Pippa - you can send the spare scones to me, I`ll willingly eat them. I`ve never quite mastered the art of scone making although I can do most other things. Think I roll the mix out too thinly, might have to practice.
Glad to hear DH is feeling well enough to go off to snooker.

Went to £stretcher today in city and...no lemon wool:(. Have decided to outwit the naughty Craft Fairy and use the big ball of darker lemon I have here instead, so have restarted the lemony bits and cracking on now with it.

Off to have a cuppa and do a bit more before bedtime.

thanks everyone for hugs, am sat blubbering away again, just rang josh for a chat, and seems he can hardly make any time to see me next week. he wanted to cance our arrangement to go shopping on tues, would rather see his mates and gf, than his mum, suppose we all would at that age. just seems to have happened so quick them moving out, to not wanting to see me much, if at all.
maybe i should just setup a direct debit to their bank accounts then they wouldnt need me:(
feel lke a big chunk been ripped out of my heart, and i cant even focus on knitting. no alcohol in house and i dont like going out alone at night to go get some, so looks like putting kettle on again

aww big hugs...I would suggest bed and sleep me lovely...always seems brighter in the morning. Just give yourself ime; as you say its early days and hard when you feel alone AND rejected ... How about you try plan some new things for you in the days ahead...always good to have distraction when youre feeling like that...

Popped on to ask if anyone has a pattern for a 2 needle knitted streatchy preemie hat...have hunted for ages but just cant find the pattern...it was so easy and Ive lost mine. Have given up on the mock cable as cant concentrate and keep going wrong....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

going to have a go with the cuddles patterns today that mrs m kindly printed and sent me, been up upstairs in to loft, and brought down lots of 4 ply
have appointment at CAB this morning, hopefully sorting the benefits situation, for me and the boys

hope things are looking a little brighter after some sleep SK donot set up a diret debit, the boys need to see you to get the mony and i would suggest if they arent going to go shopping with you you find out which shop they are planning on buying FOOD from and getting them a gift card loaed with the amount they get. better than them taking cash off you and blowing it in a game or clothing shop.

after some thought, i will continue taking them shopping and keep an eye on what they are buying, for now at least. if i give them supermarket vouchers, they would probably still buy games, as most supermarkets sell them
was very hurt yesterday, because both of them said they would rather have the money in the bank, than having to come and see me for it.
too much freedom for them now, friends and girlfriends seem to have taken over from family.
