    Afternoon all

In a rush again as trying to get stuff sorted. I havent had time to read through yet will do later

Had a phone call yesterday from the oncologist secretary to let us know an appointment has been booked for Monday at 5:30, to discuss the mask and when radiology can start, she said she was worried in case the letter did'nt arrive in time. Shortly afterwards MrB the surgeon rang to tell us the same thing, he thought we may have been on our way to Devon for a few days....no such luck yet.....I must say I am impressed with the way we have been treated and how things are moving along,

kathy - I missed the update last week so will post it now
chalky - parcel on its way

Rainbow babies are coming along ok started the second one last night, I have enjoyed doing toys for a change, they are'nt for charity this time though they are for DGD's school Christmas Fayre
    Hope everyone is ok

Off to do OH a cuppa now

    Hi everyone

Jean - great to hear from you. It's quiet here without you, and you are sorely missed when you don't post. I hope you're having a good time with the outlaws!

Pippa - it's great that the health service is being so attentive, especially when we hear such depressing stories about it.

Shaz - I'm so sorry that Daniel is causing you problems; perhaps he's feeling a bit overwhelmed with the events of the past week or so.

Chalky - I had about a week of really sleepless nights; my mind just won't switch off, and there's a lot in it at the moment! The last two nights, though, I have slept right through so I hope it stays like that. A glass or three tonight will help!

Well, I didn't get around to sorting out my WIPs; I was baking all morning, and out in the garden this afternoon because the weather has been so good.

Oh I could spit. I`m on the home stretch with my crochet project and......I`ve run out of wool  I thought I had 2 more balls in my bedroom but when I went to get them they are cream not lemon :p
Blast and botheration (putting it nicely )
Went to Poundstretcher to get some more but they didn`t have any ! Plenty of cream, white, blue and pink and lots of other lovely stuff but not the bloomin one I need. Looks like I`ll have to have a trip into the big city and see if the store there has any. Hate the city but needs must. Have to finish this if it kill me and other colours just don`t fit in.

Ah well, looks like I`ll be doing something else tonight, maybe a bit of knitting for a change although I`ll have to do a bit of repair work there. Little J thought he would give Grandma a helping hand with it and pulled all the stitches off the needle and started ripping it out :rotfl:Surely thought it wasn`t up to much:rotfl:

Kathy the champers will be well chilled by the time you get to it. Hope it`s not too long now.

Jean - good to see you popping in.

Chalky - my word you`ve been busy surely.

Pippa - Rainbow babies are lovely aren`t they. Should maybe do some for grandchildren`s school fayre as well. Thanks for the reminder.

Shaz- hope you enjoyed your walk with mum. Keep calm and cast on is my new motto when life is `challenging`. Wooly pastimes certainly seem to calm me when life`s a b....

Away to have a cuppa and rescue the little cardigan back on to the needles.
Have a nice relaxing evening everyone.
