Hi everyone - I've been MIA again. I've had a lot of work on, plus the groom-to-be for Saturday's wedding has done his back in (not sure how well that will go down on the day - or night!), so he's needed a bit more help than expected. I've sorted out what I'm going to wear to the wedding and it's all ready to go, so I'm feeling quite organised on that front.

Shaz - I'm so sorry to hear that you've had more worry with the boys and hope that things have calmed down a bit for you.

Pippa - that's just typical, isn't it? Hope he can get the appointment brought forward.

Jean and Elaine - hope you are both feeling as well as can be.

ISOM - have the most fantastic holiday!

Chalky - hope DIL is keeping well!

We've had a mixture of baking hot sun and showers today. Hope it's good for the wedding!

I shall do the update tomorrow, hopefully, and will include yours, Mrs Moneypenny.

I've just sorted out my wool stash - I have loads of very fine wool in all sorts of different colours that I think I'll use to make a throw; it'll be a project I can do when I've a few spare minutes. Meanwhile, I'm using up baby wool making booties as well. I need to clear my stash ready for my shopping trip back at home, if I ever get there!

Well, I started this post before making dinner, and now I'm all full up having had a stir-fry with noodles - it was delicious, even if I do say so myself! I mixed a couple of tablespoons of Thai curry paste with all the chicken and veg, and it worked really well. Another meal for the menu plan!

Well, now I have to clear up and make sure I'm ready to sit down when the Eddie Stobart programme comes on later; it's been a really interesting series so far.

Hope you all have a great evening.

I really enjoyed knitting this little cardigan and love the raglan finish -- Does anyone know if there is a similar pattern where the yoke is all knitted on 1 needle but with a "V" neck to the cardigan pattern.

My latest Hooky project came together beautifully so its a bit more clicking time now!!

Another gorgeous day here so I hope you all enjoy some warmth and sunshine

    Love to you all x

Had a look on Ravelry, couldn't see a yoked v neck but found this sweet little all in one v neck :)

Hello to one and love to you all.
Anakat -- Thank you for that link -- it is a sweet little cardi!
Shaz -- Hope things have calmed down! What a cyclical time you have -- I just wish you could see a light at the end of the tunnel!
    ISOM --- ENJOY!!
Pippa-Jean-Elaine-May-Seakay- Hope you yours are feeling a little brighter! Love also to anyone with their hands full or overflowing!

Thank you for kind enquiries about DDIL -- She is keeping well and the little bump is certainly growing!

I am having a break from knitting and going back to my first love -- Hooking!!!! I love Granny Square Lappys, and a while back I made 1 in shades of blue. It reminded me of my late Mum's Spode China and the sea. Sadly yesterday I heard that a lovely girl I used to work with has been diagnosed with Cancer and immediately I just wanted her to have the lappy so off it went -- I hope she will be able to give it a hug.
Well I was so happy to send it on its way but knew immediately that I wanted to make another one so the blues in my stash have come out and I am loving it all over again!
    Lots of love to all
Try and do a good deed every day.

    Hi everyone

Anakat - that's a lovely pattern; thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Chalky - how lovely to be able to send a special blanket to someone in need. I'm sure it will make the world of difference to the lady who receives it.

Well, I've done the update so the figures on the spreadsheet are right up to date, and I'll try and get back into a routine with it on Monday. It's been SO busy here, you'd think it was one of my son's getting married! We've been quite involved with arrangements but it's been fun, and we're certainly learning a lot about how things are done over here. The actual service starts at 2.30 at the local church which is just a few minutes away, followed by three different receptions at different places, so it's going to be quite a day!

Anyway, I see from FB that ISOM got as far as the airport, so I hope she's all settled in at her destination and having a good time. She seems to have been working solidly for months, so I hope she has a fantastic time.

I hope you are all well and that you have a great Saturday. I shall fill you in on weddings French-style when it's all over!

    KathyXX

Update - you can find the spreadsheet by clicking into my name at the side of this post, then going to my 'homepage'. Please let me know if I've made any mistakes!
