aww poorly bunch we are! No witchy spells here but do chat with the Jesus man regularly so will ask him to assist where assistance is needed!
V emotional day yesterday as we had goodbye to our Americans. Funny how people you barely know can make such an impact. Apparently we get to go there in a few years lol! Meanwhile email is great and Im hoping to have a wee importer of American yarns...one has a spinning wheel thats just sitting there..just wrong!
My cousin also popped in with his wife and twins for a nappy change so lovely to meet the twins but this also means more knitting projects! Bizarre that I remember when their daddy was a baby!
Thinking of you all with big hugs...
Ps A woman in church is doing operation Christmas child boxes,...if anyone has puppets they can pass her way I know it would be a huge encouragement to her...:)

Not much to report here - been trying to undertake all those little "bitty" jobs today and also to start sorting my wool stash which is all over and out of control - do you think the wool rebels every now and then and runs amock! (think I just need to keep taking pills:D)

Thanks for the kind thoughts on aching bones - bit of a let up on that front but downside not much knitting done last few days and I didnt update last week so naughty me!

Love and hugs to all think I might have early bath - DS at craft club tonight in the village (my neighbour runs it and would you believe its mostly boys who go - last week I packed her up some little ready to do cards for the children for fathers day - gave them each a stamped out shirt, backing paper and card, card & envelope, button and fathers day greeting and instructions on how to put together and they all did one - DS also made a friendship bracelet and wooden bookmark - this week he has taken some knitting on BIG needles (11.5mm) - he thinks its great on big needles - can see what he is doing me thinks

    Evening all :hello:
what a lovely day its been, yesterday was awful driving back on the M5 with all the rain and idiots driving far too fast, but most folks were careful and aware of road conditions. We decided to come back yesterday as the weather down Devon was cold wet and VERY windy.

The appointment is through for the scan, 10:30 on Saturday morning, we were surprised didnt think they did them over the weekends.
Had a lovely time in our carrie-van (love the name psso):) very relaxed and got together with friends new and old, one of which, her daughter, husband and son in law popped over for cake and a cuppa and we were all still yakking after 2 hours, then we all went down to the little club for a drop of pop ;):rotfl:

chalky - BBQ that would have been nice love a barby, did you text me ? only I didnt receive one... I did receive a card from Aunt Dorothy today thanking me for the things I sent which was lovely of her, will you pass on my thanks to her please
jean - what a good idea re the footstool must have a bash at that
kathy - ooo more dust lucky you ;)
f1widow - glad to hear the bones are behaving themselves today. You made me :rotfl: with the tale of the pouffe/footstool

jean - psso I will be thinking of you both tomorrow xx

I have done so much washing since we got back, where does it all come from, we only went down for a few days........

managed to get some hats done and a few emergency squares, I must sort my stash and ferret out all the little balls for granny squares

Take care all, off to make a cuppa so TTFN and have a nice evening:)

  • it doesn't need to stop at a footstool...........it could be huge - need more wee leggies tho' and you could use that seat cushion foam on top with a loverly bit bit of material slapped right across the lot

oh and my paint splotched one got a new beige cover today(elastic bottom so it can come off for a wash) F1 you keep doing the going out stuff and you will make it to the DIY shops in no time!

Anne I was in and out of the scanner in 30 minutes......(full bod done) sat and had a coffee and piece of cake while I waited for the results and the scans, worried about it for days before and then wondered WHY! Fingers crossed for a good and speedy outcome. Oh I have some washing if you run out - I could send it on to you.

    Hi Everyone!

    An update for you all.
You'll be very pleased to know that on Monday I delivered 21 'Sunshine Blankets' to a local Nursing Home.
The Blankets were all so very well received.
I was sad to see them leave me, my room is empty now, but I know that they have all gone to Elderly people
who really need them. They were all so very well received and I can't thank you all enough.
My visit is on the SIBOL web-site. Please pop over and have a look at the photos Mr.Twins kindly took for me.
We had a lovely afternoon meeting the Staff and Residents and even had tea and biscuits!

If for some reason you don't see the post about the Home, it's Blogger not me!
    Sorry.

    Bye for now, Hugs Suex

    Hi everyone

I'll call back later on this morning but just wanted to wish good luck to both Jean and Elaine for today - I shall be thinking of you both.

Things have been so busy here for the last few days that I don't know if I'm coming or going - guests at the holiday home so I've had to do 'changeovers', helping the neighbours clear up their garden after the party on Saturday, visitors here, and so on, but things should, hopefully, calm down soon, and I can get back to what passes as normal around here!
