    grrrrrrhhhhh! Just lost post!!!!
    Well , lets try again!
Hello everyone and a Devonshire hug tucked in too!
We have just arrived home from Bideford after a hectic weekend -- Poor DIL was so poorly we never got up to any of our usual woolly pursuits. She never picked her hook once so I knew how bad she must be feeling-- I think summer colds can make you feel terrible! So lots of spoiling needed there.

I managed to knit all the way home to find I had done the raglan shapings all wrong so that is put away til morning in disgust!
We were made a great auntie and uncle again over the weekend, a little girl so the sherbety blanket will be perfect.
She is called Devon Hazel so I must knit a name flag as I made 1 for her older brother but at least its not a long name!

I gather something horrible has happened to Mrs Twins -- not sure what but I hate to think of such a very special person being upset!

ISOM -- I am not sure about these swaps . Someone asked me to do one -- The postage was horrendous as it was to America and I wanted it to be special so tucked in some lovely things and to be honest seeing as the other person requested it -- No effort was made at all -- It was a ribbon swap and she has some gorgeous examples on her blog but none of those arrived. I was really disappointed and actually came to the conclusion that I would rather spend the money on wool for Charity work. Just my experience!

Pippa Lots of love to you both x
Shaz So sorry to read of damage - x
Jean Hope you are feeling perkier!
F1 -- Hope you are managing to go out a bit!
Salome -- What a lovely post
Kinsey-- Hope things are calming down
Pfungi-- Lovely to "see " you
Kathy -- Glad you have had some rain-- It's very dry here too!

DOH is helping DD'S partner tomorrow so quiet day for me but lovely to be be back!
Try and do a good deed every day.

    Hi everyone

Chalky - poor DIL, I hope she feels better soon. Congratulations on the new baby!

As for Mrs Twins, I tried to get onto her blog and can't. I also can't access my emails - despite trying everything I can think of. I know what has been happening, and she had explained it all on her blog, but I would need to ask her first if it would be OK for me to post it on here. As soon as I can get into my emails, I will email her. Perhaps Blogger has withdrawn her blog for some reason? The SIBOL one is OK.

Pouring with rain again here but we do need it, so I'm not complaining!

Anyway, I will keep trying my emails and will email Mrs Twins as soon as I can.

Hi all, sorry I haven`t been around much the past week. It`s been a bit busy.

Monday was spent in the garden off and on and some of the weeds went in the bin. Had to take it easy and just do a wee bit at a time.

Preparing for winter ( I know it`s not summer yet, well not here anyway, unless it was the couple of sunny days we had last week) and had insulation put in the loft and eaves on Tuesday.
Wednesday saw the gasman round to service the boiler.

Thursday had appointment at cardiology clinic. Spent quite a long time there waiting for various tests so got one prem blanket finished and another one started. The girls couldn`t believe how relaxed I was about the hanging around, but when I told them I`d have to do house**** :eek:if I went home and could spend lots of lovely crafting time in the waiting room instead.....:T.....well they got the point then. Anyway, I really didn`t want to have to go back again this week just to do their treadmill test, so was quite happy to wait for the new one to be fixed up and I was the first patient to use it.

After all that, the cardiologist saw me again and informed me that it would appear from the test results that the discomfort/angina I had a few weeks ago had actually been another heart attack _pale_ so now waiting for angiogram appt and possibly another stent. SIGH.

Saturday we had two birthday parties, one for 4yr old grandson and the other was DiL2B`s daughter`s 18th.
So it`s been all go round here.

Must admit I didn`t stay long at the second one - had to come home for a lie down as feeling rather tired. It`s funny, but up until the doc told me about the unknown heart attack I`d felt fine. Now I seem to be tired and more aware of niggles etc almost as if I`m waiting for something to happen :(

Doing the border for one of the blankets just now but I can feel the butterfly in me fluttering - I`d like to be starting something else but not sure what. Waiting for inspiration to strike.

Chalky - re -I gather something horrible has happened to Mrs Twins

Haven`t seen anything on her blog , wonder what has happened :(

Elaine - I've just checked via your link, and the relevant bit looks as if it has been edited out. I hope the angiogram goes well. I shall be thinking of you.

Mrs Twins - I do hope you haven't had any more hassle.

    Good afternoon Everyone!

I have been terribly upset and I haven't picked up my hook for days now. I've started working on the Farmyard Blanket, but haven't got too far.

Mrs Twins and SIBOL are working fine, but I have put some of the posts on Mrs Twins into draft now, because at my end it was closed.

    I shall explain.

First of all I have to start again, because I've just lost all this.....:(

Okay, for months now I have been taking an interest S.L.'s project 'Crochet a Rainbow'.
Being in the same sort of business if you like I was just 'interested'. Squares were coming in and I wanted to look at them and have updates on how things were going etc., Just 'taking an interest' as we all do in each others work.

Well at the start there were photos of the Squares, and then myself and friends were wondering has she made any blankets yet. Then we saw half a dozen folded up with the promise of full blankets being shown after her holiday to NY. Weeks went by and of course we were interested. No updates, no news, no photos.

Then E. Cat first of all made an enquiry, then I thought I would set out on a quest to try and get some answers for the Ladies in the Crafting Community. We all take interest in each others work, don't we? We comment on Flickr, we comment on here MSE, when we see someone has crocheted or Knitted an item? We comment on a Blog post? We take an interest in each other.
    That's what we all do.

So I put a post on RAV. I mailed Sarah, and 'twittered' her, Is that the word? Never mind whatever. I joined up especially because I wanted to draw her attention to the queston being asked. She 'INSTANTLY' took down my post on RAV. 'Deleted' me. Then shortly after we saw a Blog Post on her blog. www.sarahlondon.wordpress.com

Now please pop over and have a read.

    Well what can I say?

Because I read her Blog post I felt my question was answered. She chose to answer it in the way she felt best. Not my way at all.
Thats why at my end I then wanted the matter closed. I didn't think there was any need to keep the post running on Mrs Twins because I didn't want it spoiling my blog.

My self I have different ways of doing things, I have always been brought up with respect for others, and to be polite. I'm sorry but that is the way I am. I have to try and forget about this now, and I didn't post on here because I didn't know whether it was right to write on here about it and I wanted it finished. I have to accept these are Sarah's thoughts. I don't agree with anything she has said. I don't like anything either.

But on the other hand I did want you to know what was going on, and I thought I would wait until someone mentioned it.

My Butterflies.....Well SIBOL continues 'stronger' and everyone is popping over to RAV SIBOL, to pick up their Butterfly. Display it on your blog or your profile. Butterflies are our SIBOL trademark if you like. We have been making them since SIBOL No.8 'Butterfly'. May our SIBOL Butterflies continue to 'flutter happily!'.

Thank you everyone and I just thought I would let you know what has been going on. Thank you Puppet Lady who has just let me know.

Love, best wishes and hugs well we all need them!
    Sue x

P.S. I forgot to say it wasn't long ago SL was mailing me praising me up with the promise of squares, and congratulating me. x

    Hi all,

Hope things are ok with MrsTwins, I had a card from her this morning thanking me for some squares I sent. Just had a look in her blog but nothing new on there.
I do hope you are alright Sue xx

kathy - I had a look at the figures and errrm mine are wrong I seem to have a few more than I should have, my OCC total is 14 and my Emergency squares total is 4. Everything else is right :)

psso - please take it easy and try to relax a bit, hope all goes well with the angiogram
f1 - you know that intriguing task...well it came a cropper... I dropped a stitch  so now its at the bottom of my to do bag ;) I will have another go when things are calmer
shaz - O how awful, I hope your next holiday is uneventful
chalky - poor DIL hope she is feeling a bit better now. Congrats on the birth of your new Great Niece
jean - Are you being a good girl and resting :);)
ISOM - hope your parcel turns up and contains lots of thoughtful goodies. I was so annoyed when I read your post re Mum and nasty comments I fail to understand why some people are so nasty and hurtful, lifes too short for nastiness, it just would'nt do if we were all the same just think how boring life would be then

I finished the ripple blanket off for Mums friend's birthday, and she loved it Mum said she shed a few tears, I am so pleased she liked it it was difficult choosing colours for someone I don't really know, but it all turned out ok

Evening all...just home after a horrendously busy day...literally didnt stop from 8 - 7, back is killing me and Im feeling decidedly grumpy!
Psso...oh no what a shock! You go gently now and just go with what your body is telling you!
Socky - hope youre settled at home and the bill for damage not too bad. Any news from new SW?
Chalky-poor dil being poorly; hope shes on the mend!
Mrs Twins-sorry that there's been nastyness..sounds like SL is a bit overwhelmed from her post ...think I would be if that many people sent me squares but then much better to say that youre struggling than have a rant but maybe thats where she is at...would try not to take it personally!
Roaming - how are you doing with resting?!! Driven round bend yet!
Salome great that youre having lovely time!

News this end is still no parcel and she hasnt replied to my email which has hacked me off big time. TBH the fun has gone out of it for me now and I just feel let down...esp when like chalky I put so much effort in...wouldnt say never again as you cant tarr everyone with the same brush but definately not for a while!

Going to chill out now and recoup for tomorrrows adventure which involves more driving, long day and footy which means Ill be late again! Lots of toil building up anyway! Knitting wise finished side one of bolero!!

    Hi everyone

Pippa - sorry.....again! I'll put it right as soon as I've finished this post. I'm so pleased your ripple blanket was so appreciated by your Mum's friend, and what a lovely gift she has to treasure forever.

Mrs Twins - I am so pleased that you have posted. I hate the thought of you being so upset when you've done absolutely nothing wrong. I hope you soon feel more like picking up your hook again. You do such a fantastic job, and you do it with unfailing skill, kindness and, above all, generosity; the world would be a poorer place without people like you. I know we all love what you do and your beautiful butterflies, so please keep them flying on our behalf, and on behalf of all those in need who receive one of the gorgeous blankets. Have a lovely evening.

mrs twins - firstly can I say I absolutely hate nastiness and hate it when one of our friends is subject to such upset - with many apologies I have not as yet "helped" by sending squares but watch admiringly as I see how you both co-ordinate and create such wonderful blankets - I so admire ladies like you, chalky, kathy etc who have organised and orchastrated selfless acts of kindness to either aid or bring some love into someones life - so dont stop - we all think you are great! big hugs xxxxx

Sorry I waffled there but I hope you and all ladies who get involved will understand how you are all so appreciated (im not very good with words! but hope ykwim!)
