    Hi everyone

Jean - it's not pathetic at all; I've only managed three squares and lately that's a lot for me!

F1 - sorry about the totals; that will be my fault, not Jean's! I'll put it right at the next update which should be tomorrow. Don't worry about me at all. We ARE on the home straight with just a few smallish jobs to do, so the light is definitely on at the end of this very long tunnel! At least there are no more really dusty or dirty jobs to do. DH wants to put in a proper drive but that will be all outside work!

Shez - that's a fantastic price for the stamps. I've been saving them for years because our local Co-op in the UK had a collecting box for them, so I got into the habit years ago. Now, I just collect them and collect them, hoping for a magic used-stamp fairy to put in an appearance!

ISOM - how rude of those people to make comments about your mum. I'm not sure I'd have been able to remain calm. Some people are so rude, aren't they?

Anakat - happy birthday to your DS. I hope you have all had a good day.

SAlome - sounds like you and your family have been really busy!

Pippa - thinking about you and your OH.

Well, I've been working on squares and I'm doing an Olympic one for Mrs Twins at the moment. While so much seems to be going on Chez Mioliere, squares are easy and quite soothing to do!

Anyway, hope you are all having a good day.

Maytaurus, Mrs MW, Seraphim, Happycrafter and all MIAs - thinking about you all.

kathy, great news about your bil
isom, try and learn to ignore peoples nasty comments, not always easy, but it says more about them

enjoyed skegness, weather was poor on the monday and tues, but then was really hot rest of week. unfortunatly joshua did not behave well at all, and on one of the days, he did a lot of damage to his bedroom, that he was staying in, i did the right thing and went to reception, and told them what had happened, and apologised, they are sending the bill thru the post, when they know all the costs, but they did say it could be a few hundred pounds:eek:, i wont be taking him to butlins again thats for sure.
silly me, has booked another holiday in 3 weeks time, for when the kids have finished school, if there is a repeat performance, i'll kill him lol

    hugs all

    Good afternoon, all

Hope you have all enjoyed your weekends, whatever you've been up to.

I just want to show you the contents of the lovely parcel sent to me last week by Pippa.S.

    http://puppetystuff.blogspot.com/2011/06/another-woolly-parcel.html

Thank you so much for making all these things, Anne, and for sending them. You really are very kind. I know all of you on this thread are very kind and generous, and although I don't have time to post too often, I'm very happy to be a part of it.

I reached a little 'goal' last week of completing 25 puppets by the end of May. I've still got some way to go before I get to my usual annual goal of 100, but I'm working on a little idea to incentivise (is that a word?) myself! Watch this space...

My current totals are shown below.

    Afternoon all

lost connection on and off over the last couple of days, Virgin came and changed a cable to the box in the garage and up to now ...fingers crossed...

We had a tree cut down today it was one of the disasters from the harsh winter, I suppose we were lucky really just losing 1 shrub and 1 tree. Have already replanted a shrub and need to replace the tree, it was a Eucalyptus lovely but my goodness did it grow quickly, seemed to just shoot up.

I made a Rainbow Baby yesterday turned out bigger than I thought but so cute :)
I tried to do a Chemo doll but had trouble reading the pattern from Loving Hands. OH printed it out for me looks a really nice doll but it came out so blurry it gave me a headache :o will have to rethink that one.

Must go we are off to Mums to take her shopping over.

Hope you are all ok and feeling chirpy :)

Will try and get back later

    Hi everyone

We've had a massive thunderstorm today (with some much-need rain!), so I had to unplug my Livebox as usual! It seemed to go on for hours, and the thunder is still rumbling but at a distance, so I thought I would chance it on here! What with that and another red tape paper trail that has actually led me to the British Consulate, no less, it's been one of those days. In fact, two paper trails, but I resolved one this morning in record time via an unusually helpful French chap!

I have done the update which you can find by clicking into my name at the side of my post, and going to my 'homepage'. Please let me know if you find any mistakes!

F1 - I have removed those random sleeping bags from your list on the update spreadsheet!

Puppetlady - what a lovely collection of goodies from Pippa!

Shaz - I'm so sorry that your DS spoiled your holiday. I hope the next one you've planned goes a lot better for you, and I hope the bill for the damage isn't too high.

Well, off to put the kettle on. Will try and pop back later.

knitting tonight so off to collect seakay in a mo!
Really peeved with my ravelry swap as boxes were meant to be sent last week at latest; despite promising it would go on Tues Ive still not had it and she's not replying to email which is really annoying as I put alot of work and effort into my package...think Ive been unlucky with 2 out of 3 of mine as last one sent stuff that looked like unwanted stash rather than things I would like! Never mind eh...just a bit galling!
Hope all are well and no major distasters? Hope poorlies healing too :)

    Hi

Have been having fun with the grandgirls :-) They've been so good. Their mum is working, so I'm a full time gran which I'm enjoying. They're getting properly spoilt by their many aunties, and two uncles. Lovely to hear their little American accents. The middle girl is very Southern lol.
I bought the two eldest ones a Barbie each, so guess who's been busy knitting Barbie clothes lol :-)
Have a blessed and prosperous evening. Hugs to all who needs one ((((hugs))))
