Good morning 1 and all and a hug tucked in too!!
sHAZ -- Hope you have a peaceful week xx Teddy clothes sound lovely!
Ginny knit-- I have had a peep at your blog -It's lovely I shall pop in often x

Well Doh was off being a stag yesterday and watched the rugby at Twickenham -- wonderful apparently-- crowd everything. Then they caught the train back to Hemel Hempstead where they were staying with some friends and the Man U supporters got on the train and their behavious was absolutely disgusting. Swearing, being sick, abusing old people, singing racist foul mouthed chants-- My poor OH, SON and DD's partner could hardly keep quiet but they were over 50 of them so you can imagine what would have happened if they had said anything--- And this is what footballers are paid mega money to promote!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Sorry, rant over! But it makes me so mad that our families live on modest wages yet treat people with respect.

Anyway the up side of all that is I have another 1/2 pyjama day. Kathy hoover is out in the kitchen !! I am off to sew in some ends on a blanket as I don't want them all to do at the end!

    Have good days everyone
Try and do a good deed every day.

Not been in much lately too much on my mind...

ginnyknit - hello and welcome:) you will love it here, we are a friendly bunch anything you want to know just ask... ;)
chalky - I know what you mean footballers get paid extortionate amounts of money and some of the fans are nothing but rude, arrogant, drunken louts, who spoil things for the genuine fans...sorry feel very :mad::mad: about this sort of thing especially when some fans can't even afford to attend the matches
shaz - have a lovely time I hope the boys enjoy it and things are nice and calm for you :)
psso - declutter thats something I really need to do, the loft mainly and sort out loads of old paperwork, I will get round to it one day
jean - how are you feeling today?
ISOM - thanks for the info, the MRI wasn't a prob as I had one after a car accident a few years ago, but I was unsure of the CAT scan I told OH what you said and he is ok with it now. My goodness what a journey, I think you are lovely to do all that you do for people x
kathy - what a shame things did'nt work out for your friends, I hope they manage to get something else sorted

We went to a wonderful party last night and DS2/DIL and DGS came with us it was over in Solihull at a golf club...funny how we always end up at golf clubs for various do's and OH does'nt play... anyway we had a lovely time,OH's cousin was 75 and she still works there  it was lovely to catch up with her and the family. She is quite a bit older than us but she does'nt look or act like it. Rolled back home after the witching hour totally sober ;)

I have done a few 'Emergency squares' and a some things for OCC

    Hi everyone

Shaz - I hope you have a lovely and relaxing time.

Ginnyknit- your blog is fascinating; I shall follow with interest!

Chalky - well done on your blog award! I can hardly imagine what that experience on the train must have been like; it's not been the 'beautiful game' for a long time now, and that's down to the players as much as the fans. Some of them just do not know how to behave with respect for others and for themselves. I note the position of the hoover! It works for me every time! Have a good half a pyjama day (although I hope that means half the day and not half the pair of pyjamas! Hope the baby puts in an appearance soon!

Elaine - give little man a kiss and a cuddle from me!

Well, I've done some more ironing this morning, which was very virtuous of me because it's 30 degrees out there! I shall sit out for half an hour later - that's as long as I can manage in the heat. I've just put out an extra container of water for the birds - they've been splashing about in the first one and it's all gone, so I shall leave two out for them while it's hot. Besides our woodpecker, blue and great tits, swallows (now with four babies!), four different types of finch, sparrows, redstarts, robins, and blackbirds, we've had sight of our first hoopoe - it's gorgeous! The other day we also saw two snakes 'making out' with each other, but that was not too pretty a sight and, although I'm not frightened of snakes, the sight did make me freak out a bit! And check that the doors were closed!

Anyway, will call back later. I'm off to do some lunch now.

    KathyXX

Jean - I hope you are resting. I'm keeping a virtual eye on you!

Edited having just read Pippa's post. I'm glad you had a lovely time at the party. Thinking of you and your OH.
